Cons: It is very tired - and potentially it could be really nice but needs some money spending on it
Location: 5/10 minutes walk to Kensington or Notting Hill
Great location in walking distance of Notting Hill and Kensington BUT This is very basic The hotel is very tired - clean but far from spotless The room we had was hardly big enough to swing a cat but did have a double bed and a single bed Fixtures and fittings were tired - mattress looked like it was lumpy but surprisingly we all slept well No mention that the Toilet and Shower Room were communal If you want a relatively cheap place to literally just sleep then this works - if you want any more than that then this is not the place for you

dårlige senge og (for) mange værelser om 1 brusebad og 2 toiletter gør at hotellet på trods af god beliggenhed i forhold til 3 undergrundsstationer ikke er et sted vi vil bruge igen

Ran down place. Unfriendly staff, breakfast very poor. Rooms in a very bad condition!

veldig trangt dårlig luft. ingen aircondition. OBS! noen av rommene er uten eget bad. frokostsal: trangt, lite utvalg mat, svært kritikkverdige hygieniske forhold på kjøkken og ved håndtering av mat. hagen som "tilhører" hotellet er stengt og har andre eiere.

Room toilet disaster, got no store room & lift

I was given a twin bed room with PUBLIC TOILET ! Totally unacceptable . When we book the room it was not stated clearly in the booking, it stated Basic only! What do basic mean! Hotel had got no lift if you r staying on the 3rd floor and have a few bags then you had to carry all the ways up by staircase It had got no store room for you to store your bags. It is therefore not recommended for traveller with a few heavy bags to stay in this hotel.

Miss represented as I booked this and it confirmed us as double bed, I arrived and was given 2 single beds. This would have been okay if we could put them together but it was room 11 which is long and thin so we had to share a single bed. The floor boards are so creaky it kept us up late with the hotel being open 24/7 access. All doors do not have any anti-slamming functionality so we were also enjoying doors slamming shut heavily. Breakfast was nice with a lot of choice, but this is not a hot food breakfast.
