Good Location, but a few minus points

Posted May 26, 2017
Pros: Good location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Adequate breakfast.
Cons: Television needs adjusting - takes at least 15 minutes to tune-in after switching on. Breakfast choice should include low-fat and low-sugar items.
Location: Excellent location.
The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes' walk from Pimlico Underground Station and on the Number 24 bus route. Check-in was slightly fraught with a male receptionist whose first language was definitely not English and was therefore very difficult to understand. On the plus side, when checking out, the female receptionist spoke excellent English and was very friendly. We were disappointed to be given a room in the basement. It had obviously been recently refurbished, was spotlessly clean, but very cramped. It was fine to be used as a base.

Good hotel for short stays

Posted May 23, 2017
Pros: Decent facilities for the price.
Cons: The hotel is on a busy road so it is quite noisy if you have to have the window open. Perhaps air conditioning should be considered.
Location: Close to Tate Britain and good transport connections to the West End.
I have used this hotel a few times now when I am in London for trips to the theatre or opera. It is conveniently located near Victoria Station. Hotel facilities are reasonable for the price and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Walking distance to Victoria station...and Buckingham Palace. Bus stop outside door. Good area. Good breakfast. Clean and modern. FRIENDLY STAFF. Room was very small and claustrophobic.

Clean and cozy hotel in great location

Posted Mar 10, 2017
Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. It's less than 10 minutes walk to Victoria station (major tube station and train station, where the gatwick express stops). Lots if stores, pubs and restaurants with walking distance. Room was teeny tiny - but that is to be expected in London! Complimentary breakfast was decent; coffee, toast, croissants, yogurt, cereals and juice.

Convenient hotel close to Victoria Rail Station.

Posted Mar 7, 2017
Pros: Tidy room, good wifi
Cons: Serve breakfast earlier.
Location: Tate Britain, shops, Chelsea
Chose Lidos for 8 minute walk for getting early train to Gatwick airport. Clean room and bath, comfortable bed and pleasant staff, Wifi worked well. Also an easy walk to Pimlico tube Station. Coffee and tea in room a plus. Breakfast should be available earlier--7 am is late for early birds.
