The staff was unhelpful, my expensive headphone stolen from the room , I reserved a room with 2 queens beds , they gave us me and my brother a king bed. Was bad experience, Not recommended at all
Problems at check-in because of “the new system.” The room stank of sewer gases. As Diamond status Hilton Honors guests they overlooked sending any welcome gift. They did AFTER I mentioned it but that isn’t really right. No housekeeping in either of our rooms day 2 (they just forgot our floor). I’ve been coming here for decades but now I see it’s time to find a new place to stay.
Cannot believe this claims to be a 5-star hotel. Not even close. Everything is dated and was never luxury 5 star quality even when new. Bed, furniture, bath fixtures, etc. this maybe was a 4 star hotel once, now it’s 2-3 stars at best. You cannot even begin to compare this to other top hotels. Doesn’t hold a candle to them.
We just loved this beautiful hotel right in central London. It was so easy to get anywhere we wanted to go, but we felt like we were in a quiet spot. The staff were absolutely the most friendly and helpful of most anywhere I’ve been! The hotel was pristine. We will be back! 🇬🇧
Enjoyed my stay here. Was a solo traveler for 4 days. This hotel is central to most everything I wanted to see. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They knew i was alone and kept me company during my afternoon tea. Super nice and freiendly place to spend a few days at. L
Good:
1. Good staff and service. They allowed me for an early check-in provided there is an empty room
2. Nice view
3. Comfortable bed and useful tablet.
Bad:
1. Shower/bath hot water is not hot enough
2. No toothbrush provided, even though this is a high end hotel
The worst experience traveling in my life. The staff we rude and negligent as well as arrogant. Not welcoming at all. They did not have a room ready upon check in, failed to provide us updates on when we could check in. Waited 2.5 hours for a room. Curtains broken in room, black mold on shower and in bathroom. Lights in bathroom leaked and dripped right on top of you when using toilet. I hated everything about this hotel. Never again.
Overall it was a great service. The restaurant staff are terrible. The customer service experience at the restaurant in the 28th floor was bad. Every other thing was great. Great location.
