Decent little hotel in a nice area of London

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: Hotel is very humble and simple, the room we stayed is small but cozy, bathroom is tiny. The area is perfect, super close to the tube and super safe and pretty. Free breakfast goes only from 8 to 9:30am and it's very simple but hey it's free. Check in/out is fast and efficient.
Cons: Bathroom looks very outdated and no matter how the nice cleaning staff tries to make it clean, it will always smell a little stinky.
Location: 3 min walk to the underground station (earls court), plenty of options to eat, close to hyde park and museus by walking distance, location is amazing

Good value family hotel in quiet location

Posted Oct 14, 2016
Pros: Friendly staff; cute balcony; nicely tiled bathroom; good WiFi
Cons: Nothing to dislike. It is an older property so some things are a tad worn but everything is functional, clean and as well presented as possible.
Location: Great location on quiet street but still close to buses and tube.
Larger than usual room for hotels in this budget. Even had a queen bed with space for handful of other pieces of furniture. Love the unique character of independent hotel vs the standardized hotel chain look.

there are better options along this same street

Would never stay at this hotel again. The breakfast was laughable at £6 per. Couple of slices of what looked like cold cut salami and ham among the plate. The front desk staff are possibly the slowest speakers of English ever. The Spanish woman is hilarious. It's like she was drugged up on Ambien. Also, they called for a taxi and it never showed so we flagged down one.

Great value hotel. Located 2 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. For the price it is a excellent base to explore London.

Reasonably priced hotel near Earls Court London

Posted Sep 2, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: The easy access to all that London offers
Cons: Redecoration would help the hotels appearance
Location: 200 metres from Earls Court Tube Station. Great pubs nearby with good food available
Great location near Earls Court Tube. Continental style breakfast was available for £6. Orange salami, ham and cheese served as well as cereal, juice, fruit, yoghurt, toast and croissants. Food ok but felt and looked tired, a bit like the rest of the hotel.

Not good experience

Posted Aug 17, 2016
No air conditioning, wifi often disconnected, no lifts, no breakfast. Light bulb fell suddenly. I do not like to recommend the hotel to others.

Convenient hotel with great staff

Posted Jul 23, 2016
Pros: Convenience to public transportation, food, and the beautiful neighborhood, as well as bed, bathroom, TV and Wi-Fi.
Cons: Decor was well chosen, but could stand some reupholstery of chairs.
Location: A block from the Earl's Court Underground and bus stop, several pubs, lots of fast food and grocery store,
This hotel is very convenient to travel (Earl's Court tube and bus routes) to museums and Heathrow and is in a very beautiful neighborhood. The room itself was ok, with a good sized bathroom, a comfortable bed, good TV and free Wi-fi. For the cost it is an excellent value and choice.

Great area close to subway and shops.

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Pros: Great area, quiet street, close to transport, some attractions and selection of shops for food, chemist, the full selection really
Cons: Old plumbing in room booked. Second room had an upgrade to shower. Could do with a freshen up but looking at my late booking I suppose it was expected
Location: Earl's Court subway buses pubs serving food. M&S co-op boots ,Museums, Hyde park/Kensington park Harrods down road 20 minutes walk.
Had to move rooms from top floor to basement as room not as we expected. No lift only stairs so be aware. Fan in rooms helped with the temperatures very high at 33 degrees we needed some cooling down after a walk around town. Subway only 2 minutes away as are the buses.. Lots to see in London so we left early and usually back by 6 pm. If it was a bit cooler we might have stopped out until later but the heat was heavy going that week so you needed back to recover. Good selection of places to eat and also good selection of shops near hotel. I would say Kensington is a good area for travelling to all the sites.
