Just right for a little family trip.
The only bad thing I can say is that the beds were really uncomfortable. But the overall room was perfect for my little family and the staff was amazing and welcoming. Perfect location to tube and if you like being near tower bridge which we do.

The property’s location is convenient. The facilities however were disappointing. The first apartment I checked into was filthy. There was black mold in the bathroom and the place clearly had not been cleaned. The terrace had cigarette butts and bird excrement and could not be used. I was provided with another apartment after I complained. This one was cleaner than the first, however, the washer/dryer did not work. I asked the front desk for help and the staff member told me that maintenance would come look at it. No one from maintenance ever came, despite me going to the desk 3 times to ask. I ended up have to take my laundry to a neighborhood laundromat. The elevators in the building are extremely small. One of the two elevators was out of service for the entire time of my stay. Overall, I was very disappointed with this accommodation given the high cost.

Set your expectation
I believe your expectation should be relative to what you paid for. In this case, we paid over US$6,000 for two apartments for 6 nights. The conditions of the apartments were worn and low quality. The sofa bed was uncomfortable with no bedding (mattress dirty), washer/dryer wouldn't dry, no hair dryer, no hand soap and shampoo (had to buy our own), phone was off hook, it's pretty crazy! The bathroom shower/bath had rust, which is a pet peeve of mine. When we first checked in after 3pm, we had to wait over a hour for our first apartment. Our second apartment wasn't ready until 7pm. You may think what we experienced was an exceptions. But of the three times I had to visit the front desk for something, the first time, a lady before me was complaining about her unit; and the third time, a dad with two kids asked to see the manager about his unit (threatening to leave early.) I've heard other complain when I passed the front desk. I'm pretty sure there's a pattern of bad apartments and bad management. I think if I'd only paid US$100 per night for each apartments, my expectation would have been more in line with my experience. Be forewarned that for the Marlin apartments, we didn't come even close to getting what we paid for.

noise around the property is a problem 24 hrs a day. no a/c, windows needs to be kept open, then noise from close by school or cars passing by or people screaming.

This is it a hotel - it is a basic apartment that smells off. Mattresses and linens are basic and not very comfortable. There are no decorations and hardwood floor throughout. The location is convenient to an underground stop and a relatively short walk to borough market. It is NOT convenient to Westminster, west end etc. there are no other hotel amenities. For the expense, was not worth it.
