Close to Kings Cross St Pancras StationPosted May 18, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Good location and comfortable modern room. Fab cafe downstairs with great coffee.
Cons: I was disappointed to find our bathroom sink had not been cleaned and had to phone Reception to organise for Housekeeping to attend to it.
Location: Outstanding location for catching the EuroStar. Handy to Russell Square and a nice walk to London shopping district.
We booked the hotel for the night before we arrived from Australia so we could access the room before the usual 2pm check-in time. I emailed the hotel in advance explaining the situation so they wouldn't think we were a no-show and I was very impressed with their prompt reply.

Unique hotel in excellent, convenient locationPosted Apr 18, 2015
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I booked it on the spur of the moment as I had an unexpected stopover in London and was looking for something near to the train/underground station. It was literally RIGHT across the street and super easy to find due to its unique exterior. The atmosphere was very trendy and friendly. Check-in was a breeze and our room was large by London standards and comfortable. The bedding was comfy, the view was great, the bathtub was deep and inviting. My only negative about this hotel was that it was a bit noisy at night as our room faced the main road--this was the tradeoff for the great view of St. Pancras Station, so I just turned up the waterfall on my iphone a bit and all was well.

One point to be concerned about the apartment typePosted Apr 14, 2015 on Hotels
Location is perfect, just opposite to the station, very convenient to everywhere. We stayed in the apartment, which is the other building from the hotel, no escalator but only stairs, and need to walk for a few minutes, really need to reconsider if you've got big luggages. The apartments got different design room by room, which is an interesting point while unfortunately the one we stayed got a quite stylish but not user-friendly nor comfortable design, like the square-shaped toilet seat, as well as the shower room without a door. Better for a couple than a family. The second stay we got another one, which is much more better.

Comfortable rooms, well served by the UndergroundPosted Apr 14, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel was a great place to return to after a long day visiting the sights. Our deluxe room was quite spacious with a lovely view on St. Pancras and King's Cross stations (we had two clocks to set our watches to!). The bedding was very comfortable and the room was well-appointed with an iron and an espresso machine. It's also a great, central place to explore both west and east London. And with the number of tube and bus lines that pass through Kings Cross, it was extremely easy to get around (and to get home when we were tired)! The hotel restaurant served delicious breakfasts (which weren't included with our room). Plus the wifi was impeccable and the free copies of the Guardian and the Times (and other papers) each day made me feel truly at home. I'd recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Really close to St Pancras so great for those taking trains. Decent hotel, bit expensive but that's probably due to it's great location.

The Megaro ticked all the boxes for our two night stay in London. Handy for public transport too.
