Great value for money.

Pros: Staff were very kind and considerate. They didn't know I was disabled. Having a shower like that was a definite plus!
Cons: The size of the bedroom - - it seemed to be swamped by the bed, and there were four pillows and four cushions on there. Not necessary.
Location: close to Paddington Station. Things to do didn't both me - travelling early next day.
I arrived late, but was still able to check in. My luggage was taken, and put beside the lift for me. Thankfully, there WAS a lift - important as I am disabled. Once I got in the room it was small,the bed taking up most of it. However, their shower did have a floor a disabled person can stand on. Too smooth, and it's too slippy. It wasn't. I'll be at another Mercure Hotel later this year. I'll expect it to be pretty much the same.

No booking

Pros: Closeness to station and functional yet typically small rooms
Location: Really close to station and main park
Arrived at the hotel to find that there was no booking despite having an Expedia confirmation number for it. The hotel was very good about it and eventually found me a room but it was 4 hours of waiting around (jet lagged)

Service with a smile

Pros: Location was ideal for our one night stay.
Location: Paddington rail station and tube station.
Right from the moment we checked in, we were very pleased with our choice in hotels. Our room was small, but very clean and cozy. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We had a double bed, I would have preferred a queen, but it was still very comfortable. They offer a smart phone to take with you and you wonder the city, great idea for visitors.

Best location, well and easy walk to connect Tube

Location: Superb, very convenient and easy to connect and walk, just 5 minutes

One night stay. Room is normal size for a hotel of this price. But hotel is right next to Baker Street tube station, Super convenient. Also, lots of eateries nearby, including HSBC bank branch. Convenient.

the worst hotel i ever stayed. when i was about to go to bed, i found the hairs in the bed and noticed that the sheet was not changed. so i called the front desk and a man came in with the bedding but no pillow covers. i asked that i also needed the pillow covers since they were apparently not changed. the man got angry and told me that was not his job. very rude. and when i took a shower, i found out they even did not put in any shower shampoo, gel, or soap, at all.

A biy disappointed except for the location

The location is perfect if u use paddington and tube amd Heathrow express often as it is just around the corner. But the breakfast is a bit disappointed for mercure standard. Expect more indeed. The bed available to me should be a double but it is composed of two twin beds without a pad on top ! This is indeed another disappoinment.
