This property is just an easy two blocks walk from the Earls Court Station. There are food stores and restaurants clustered round the station and the District and Piccadilly lines give quick access to central London. The rooms are clean, there is plenty of hot water, the bathrooms are modern, and the beds are comfortable. While the basic double-bed room room is very small, the bath area is just fine. There are mini fridges and the larger rooms have microwaves. After a few days, the staff did give us a bottle of wine and an upgrade to a room with a king bed that we really appreciated. The rooms on the interior of the building are a bit quieter, but the street noise is minimal at night. The staff here is exceedingly friendly and accommodating. They were super responsive to our needs, which were many due to the irregularities in the housekeeping and maintenance issues. We never knew from day to day if the tea or cups would be restocked, if we would get enough towels, if the dirty cups would be removed, or if the trash thrown out. Especially curious was the HVAC system which could not be controlled in the room, even though there is a thermostat in the room that appears to work. It just doesn’t. If you want it warmer or cooler you need to call reception. The breakfast is £10 if ordered in advance or £15 at the door. We found it to be average, at best. Overall, the value is very good despite some of the minor shortcomings.
