Nice Hotel close to everything

Pros: Heated floor in bathroom, spacious room.
Location: Close to trains, shops, restaurants, and Hyde Park.
This hotel is in a great location, 2-5 minutes walk from Paddington train station. Loads of restaurants and Hyde Park as well. Staff are fantastic And room was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

レセプションスタッフは最悪

バディントン駅から近く綺麗なホテルです。が、レセプションスタッフの対応が最悪です。実はチェックインしてから浴槽付きの部屋に変更をお願いしたところ、もちろん、部屋のグレードアップのチャージ料金は支払うと伝えました。荷物をパッキングし次の朝にレセプションにリクエストしてとのことで、朝リクエスト、午後から変更するといわれ、観光後ホテルに戻ったところ変更していず、また次の日の朝、リクエストしろといわれ、荷物をパッキングし次の朝、リクエスト、また午後から変更といわれ、観光後ホテルに帰ると変更していず…どうも申し送りということを知らないか、最初からアジア系のリクエストなど応える気がないのか、毎回、レセプションスタッフは初めて聞くような対応。こんなことの繰り返しを朝、観光後と3日連続で行い(ぞの間荷物は毎夜パッキング、シャワールームのみの気に入らない部屋で過ごし)、いい加減、私が激怒して慌てて部屋を探し出し通された部屋は地下一階の奥の奥‼︎ アップフロアにしろ!といえば、ないというので渋々、承諾しました。 何度か海外旅行していますが、こんな酷い対応のホテルは初めてです。

Pros: Location Staff Facilities in room
Cons: Short of knocking down a wall and turning two rooms into one not a lot! Refurbishment was well designed.
Location: Hotel only 5 mins away from Paddington. Lots of cafes etc in the area. Quiet at night.
Booked at a good price for a three night holiday break in London. Excellent location placed half way between Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations. Checking in made easy by a very efficient and pleasant receptionist. Room newly refurbished (twin room) but size more suited to a single. Rather cramped and no drawers for clothes although wardrobe space sufficient. Did not opt for breakfast so can't comment on food. Checking out again easy and concierge very helpful indeed.

Not enough counter space in washroom. Sink took up the whole counter. Food staff were very good.

Pros: Great staff & location
Cons: The space is limited in the room, but that is a big city hotel feature.
Location: convenient to tube & Heathrow express. Quiet neighborhood
The staff were very welcoming and helpfully effecient. The new room improvements were very nice.

Pros: 駅に近い
Cons: 廊下が入り組んでいるが、改善しようがないかな。
Location: パディントン駅から徒歩数分、バスや地下鉄での移動がスムーズ。 地下鉄で数駅のウエストフィールドショッピングモールは巨大でなんでも揃う。
早朝にヒースローエクスプレスに乗るためパディントン駅に近いこちらを利用した。 ロンドンの市内観光で4泊したが、地下鉄やバスの交通の便が良く快適なホテルだった。 特に23番のバスがオックスフォード通りやトラファルガー広場などの行き来に便利で、2階に座って観光バスのように使えた。 駅周辺からホテルにかけてパブやレストランや小さなスーパーも多数あって、食事に困らない。 ホテルの中は迷路のように廊下が入り組んでいるが、慣れれば問題ない。 部屋は広くはないが冷蔵庫と電子レンジと電気ポットがあるので簡単な食事が可能。 フロントもスムーズで、ベルマンがいるのも良いです。

Wheelchair users beware!

My husband uses an electric wheelchair, which we specified in the booking. When we arrived, the ONE room on the ground floor was closed for renovations. Instead, we had to navigate a set of stairs to get to the floor from which we we could use the elevator. The staff was great about helping us, but it should not have been necessary. It was also a much longer walk from Paddington Station than we had been led to believe.
