If you want to stay in London but not so much in a city this is a hotel for you. It was convenient to the rail that takes you to the heart of London and (not the underground tube) which I loved for my daily adventures. There were also convenient stores and food places nearby. The neighborhood had a suburb vibe which was nice and everyone was friendly.

The staff were great, friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is very close to the docks and the exhibition centre. The room was clean and tidy and so was the bathroom.

Price was very cheap, staff are friendly and responsive, Hotel is clean throughout, location is good, free parking is very welcome The room was too small. The mattress was too small Those are the only negatives

The hotel is very basic. It’s clean and the staff are nice but it’s not in a nice area and the hotel itself is very run down with lumpy pillows.

Arrived at the hotel 9 am due to travelling from abroad, the staff managed to get us a room 5 hours before the normal check in. It helped a lot with our bag and time to relax a bit before heading out to O2 arena. Highly recommend this hotel

Great value.
Lovely hotel, modern fixtures, clean and tidy. Is compact as you’d expect for the location but very accessible. The annex is located opposite where the owner has purchased additional property above the businesses opposite to expand the hotel, felt safe and again clean and functional. Only down side was loud guests stomping up the stairs.. but can’t really blame the hotel for that. I would stay again, especially if visiting Excel London.

Free on-site Parking
The proprietors were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was a bonus to have free, secure on-site parking in London. The room was clean. When we arrived the room window was open which gave it a fresh feel, but upon going to bed we closed the window only to find that there was a musty smell that increased during the night, until we were forced to open the window again.

Rooms are smaller than travelodge
The double room is smaller than travelodge rooms. Not spacious to manoeuvre around. The radiators were on all day so it was humid in the room. We turned off the heater in the room but couldn’t do the bathroom one. The window shade out the room kept flapping all night due to wind so didn’t enjoy the sleep and also the mattress was horrendous. It felt like the springs were poking my back. The car park was restricted. The guys at the reception kept asking me if I’m gonna take the car out at night as the car park was locked so I had to call them every time I wanted to take the car out. One guy even told me I couldn’t take my car out until the morning once I parked it inside at night. The hotel is on a main road therefore you can hear the traffic. The underground station was a 10min walk which wasn’t too bad. Most of the staff were nice and attended to our needs. Overall we really didn’t enjoy our stay.

The staff were lovely and friendly cannot fault them, Hotel was clean but a little worn down in the room. The room was incredibly hot and made it hard to sleep, opened windows but road was noisy so didn't help.
