Chose this hotel for close proximity to the museum, and it was a 1 minute walk away which was super convenient. Got breakfast included and did not disappoint, highly recommend going to their attached restaurant. Rooms were nice and simple, appreciated the umbrella to use during stay, and complimentary slippers which we used for the next couple stays around UK. Check in and out was fast thanks to kind staff. The lift (elevator) was very small, barely able to fit 4 people in it, but we just used it when we checked in and out with all our bags, however don't expect other guests to take the hint and use the stairs.

Requested twin room was told that as I had not booked direct with them I was given a double so mother and adult daughter had to sleep together and then was made to pay another 150 just in case I spent anything in the hotel, coincidentally the cost of breakfast every day which we did not book or need !! If you don’t want anyone to book anything other than direct remove yourselves from other platforms. It did spoil our weekend theatre break somewhat. Will not book this chain again.

The room wasn’t what I expected. A lot smaller than the picture stated. And nothing like the lovely, fresh, bright entrance that that you walk in to. The reception area and the bedroom was like too different hotels. Hotel room was dark, small and basic. Not worth the price.

As soon as we walked through the door, we could smell how clean the hotel was! Polite and friendly staff at the front desk - nothing was too much trouble. The concierge staff were also very helpful when checking bags in (we were able to leave them before check-in time). Everything you could need in the room - from bottled water to robes and slippers. Spotlessly clean and beds comfortable. All in all, an excellent stay and ideal for our visit to the Dominion theatre - just a 5 minute walk.

Hotel lobby and restaurant are nice enough, but for the price paid I believe a lot is lacking. The standard double room is incredibly small and cramped (two of us had to move around each other). Also they take a £50 deposit which is not mentioned anywhere and not common of hotels to do. Lastly, rooms 20-50 aren’t accessible with the lift and can only be accessed by a set of stairs, which is very inconvenient if you have heavy luggage.

This hotel had a great location right next to the British Museum and near Tottenham Court Road tube with easy access to the Elizabeth line and Heathrow. The rooms range from small to large sized and are adequately clean , the housekeepers do a good job. The bathrooms are small but functional. Breakfast is spectacular. I would recommend it. Easy well to Soho, Covent Garden and all theatres.

Check in was quick and room was ready early.. reception area offers free water and a seating area. The room was quite basic and small. No gold upgrade or acknowledgment, we had to ask for the discount on the food. There was no water in the room on the first night. However the room was very clean and considering the price paid for London the stay overall was ok. We did come for pleasure and it was obvious a lot of people were travelling for work and in the morning a lot of doors slammed waking us up from 7.30am. Also house keeping woke us up at 9.30 but probably our fault for not pressing the do not disturb button. We did eat in the restaurant, the food was average but the service was great.

Very disappointing
I booked a single room as that was all that was available. It was tiny and thoroughly uncomfortable. Only one pillow, right next to staff cleaning cupboard, and they congregated outside it making a lot of noise and making it difficult to get in and out of the room. The bathroom floor had clearly not been cleaned and a plastic razor cover had been left in the shower. The safe didn't work, and although I asked for someone to come and look at it, no-one did. Some of the gym equipment was out of order (although guests are able to use the gym of the sister hotel just across the road). And the desk was tiny and there was no bedside light, just strong overhead lighting. All this cost me over £200! This is clearly a case of a hotel trying to squeeze an extra bedroom into a space that is simply not big enough. Not at all what I expect from this chain
