Hotel in great location-Wait for breakfast a joke!

Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: The feel of the hotel was very comfortable and the man on the front desk and the evening staff in the restaurant were lovely
Cons: The wait to be seated for breakfast! So disorganised!
Location: 2 min walk from Gloucester Rd Tube - 5 min walk to Natural History Museum
Welcome warm & smiley & had a lovely banter with man on front desk, he was so kind & friendly to our son. Stayed in rm 26, ground floor, faced one way side street, Queens Gate Place, windows double glazed so sound minimised. Room was a 'Business Suite' which had a super king sized bed & sofabed. Bathroom was cosy but plenty big enough for one person to use at a time. At booking requested no feather pillows due to allergy, this hadn't been done. Had evening meal at their restaurant 'Scoff & Banter' - Food was lovely, son loved pizza from kids menu & he mentioned it to the floor manager who then passed on compliments to chef, chef came out to say hello & gave him a little plate of chocolates, nice touch. Breakfast, what a farce! The queue to be seated at 7:45am was massive. We had to wait for over 15 mins & tables were visibly vacant! Staff seemed like they didn't have a clue & had panic in their eyes. Eventually greeted without an apology which really got under my skin, something so simple as an apology would've helped so much. Breakfast was a help yourself affair. Plenty of choice, hot food was hot & tasty. No butter was out so after asking for it twice in the space of 10 minutes we eventually got some. Made a comment about the breakfast queue to our man at the front desk & he laughed & said that we should see it at the weekends, it's worse!

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and being at the back of the hotel was very quiet. The breakfast was everything you could wish for an
Cons: The only downside was the size of the lift and the fact there was only one but as we were on the 2nd floor we were able to take the stairs.
Location: The tube station was just across the road. A good selection of restaurants nearby. The closeness of the museums and Kensington Gardens/Palace.
I booked this hotel as a birthday treat for both myself and my daughter and couldn't have been more pleased. From the moment we arrived Filipa on the check-in desk was most helpful and even had a bottle of wine sent up to our room!

Nice hotel, cramped quarters

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Good location. Breakfast buffet was very nice.
Location: Good location, very close to a tube station. There are many things to visit nearby.
It is a nice hotel. The rooms are incredibly small, with a minuscule bathroom. The breakfast buffet was nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. There was a strong smell in the room, which we could not identify.

Posted Aug 16, 2015
駅近で快適でした。 ピカデリーライン沿いなので、ヒースロー空港からも1本でこれ、他の場所への移動も楽でした。また朝食も本場のブリティッシュブレックファーストを味わえます。
