my friends and myself hated the hostel and did not stay. We had to find somewhere else because it was extremely dirty and we did not feel safe.

Good place for a London trip
Good location and quick check in. Small room with small bathroom but ok for the price. Room was clean. Bed was ok. Good for 1 night stay. Didn’t have a breakfast but have coffee and it was good ;) Place was busy and there was lots of people from around the world.

Wifi only in common area. Beds are not made, u have to make ur bed, yet it takes appearently 5 hours to "clean" ALL the rooms because u have to wait til exactly 3pm to check in. Reception staff has a dont care attitude. Plain rude.

I liked the lounge area and breakfast/lobby area. Staff is nice and helped me carry my luggage up the stairs, since the elevator doesn't work. It was however very inconvenient not having any outlets in the bedrooms. There should be charging areas in the rooms themselves, rather than the lounge, in the hall, or in the lobby area.

Deffo stay again
For a late booking, our stay was amazing. Staff we’re friendly and our room was fine for one night. We could have had more pillows (we didn’t ask as we knew it was a hostel and basic conditions). There was a bit of noise but again understanding as it’s a building with a lot of people. overall a wonderful stay and would do again

Given that it is a hostel (shared bathrooms, towels are rented, etc.), it has everything you need. The price is right, the opening hours are great, it is "family friendly" - no smoking/drinking, the location is convenient, the wifi works - but only in one of its (more than expected) public spaces, this is probably a helpful social "nudge". My early teen daughter and I stayed for a week and were happy with it.

It’s definitely a good place to stay if you’re just passing through. It was good for the price. The beds are so-so but it is a hostel. Otherwise it was pleasant. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be your best friend.

This is the worse London property by far! First, I was given a wrong bed | room, then I was offered a broken bed with no curtains (the only one). Victor (Front desk) clearly mixed up my reservation and has given my bed to a fellow guest. When I complained, He goes TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, WE FULLY BOOKED!!! So rude and disrespectful! Also, Very old building-poorly maintained, Communal Area was filthy, so the bathrooms. I had no choice but to ask him for a refund, however, he refused. I asked Expedia team to step in and help. He then lied claiming that there was nothing wrong with my reservation | bed, and I was happy to accept what he offered me. Stay away from these people and this property! I am still shocked how they can operate a business like this. Dishonesty, Poor treatment and Lack of hygiene and cleanliness. On the top of all this, they refused to issue me with a refund. Expedians, beware you are warned!

A nice simple hostel near a major subway station
Although there are not many attractions within the walking distance, it’s close to the Elephant & Castle metro station, and many bus lines pass through the area. So you should be able to get anywhere in London from here. Restrooms and shower rooms are well maintained. Staff members are very friendly. However note that there’s no lift, so you might think twice if you have a heavy luggage.

Budget hostel
The beds are great and the area is very small to walk, I guess it reflects on the price. Sun outdoor area is dirty but the bathroom and showers are clean.

Run down. It is an interesting building, but not kept up. The toilets were not working so on a floor with 30 rooms there was one toilet for all the woman to share. The window in the room did not shut, so air and noise from the busy street came in. I have stayed in hostels before, and this is probably ok for single travelers, but not for families.

Took a private room for 140 dollars per night which was super small and a bunk Bed for two people... didn’t even include towels and no AC and elevator was not working ... so having to go up 4 stories to a boiling hot room was not fun.

I’ve stayed at many hostels but this was by far the worst. The rooms were dirty, trash everywhere. They also smelled so bad, like a locker room. Just overall and dirty place. The staff member I attempted to check out sign was beyond rude. Idk you really get what you pay for sign this one.
