Wonderful HotelPosted Jan 17, 2016
Cons: Can't think of anything that could be improved
Location: Plenty of shops in the vicinity. Good for walking up to St. Paul's and beyond and walking to theatres and Covent Garden.
From the moment we arrived we were met by the fabulous staff who are always friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is northing short of beautiful, from the public areas to the bedrooms. The bar and restaurants are excellent with quality wine, spirits and delicious food. This is our third stay and we will definately choose Rosewood time after time.

When it rains, watch out. The lobby area is like a skating rink. Someone will get badly hurt if no one has already. My wife went flying and the following day the signs were out. Reception rang and said a first aider was being sent to the room but no one showed. Shame as everything else about the hotel is great especially the staff.

The best hotel we've stayed in for years!Posted Nov 7, 2015 on Hotels
Our first stay at the Rosewood. Unable to find any faults at all [except maybe more lights needed in bedroom - which we later found were available]. Equal to and better value than the Savoy! All of the staff we dealt with were not just attentive and efficient - they were happy - and so were we!! We have already booked the next stay - although notice room rates are rising!

Weekend layover in London.Posted Oct 31, 2015
Pros: The hotel and staff were gracious and well trained to provide the service level expected of this type hotel.
Cons: Lower the end of the tub.
Location: The hotel location is a little off the beaten track between Covenat Garden and the old City of London. Subway stop nearby although we didn't use it.
Arrived late e chatted Saturday night after a long ride from Heathrow. Hotel location is a little challenging working through traffic. After arriving we were very happy with the checkin and staff. There is a Starbucks across from the main entrance on Holborn which is nice except they open after 9am on Sunday. The room was a little small and overlooked a building under construction. Only complaint is the shower/tub is a little challenging to step over and out of. The wall plug for the hairdryer was in the hallway so difficult to dry your hair without a mirror since it didn't reach into the bathroom. Otherwise room was fine. The concierge was very helpful planning our one day in London and making dinner reservations in Piccadilly Circus after the theater. On Sundays there is a very nice farmers market that sets up in the hotel courtyard. Workout facilities are adequate although the elevators are quite slow. The best part was our hotel chauffeured car to the airport Monday morning. The driver was a real treat as he chatted away explaining all the neighborhoods we were driving through in route in a Jaguar XK.

Beautiful, quiet hotel--elegant yet inviting.Posted Oct 20, 2015
Pros: Room was spacious and well appointed--including comfortable bed. Very quiet, even when rooms are being serviced. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Breakfast buffet got a bit repetitious when staying for a week. Perhaps offer traditional British tea in afternoons. We would have enjoyed one.
Location: Covent Garden area is nearby, where there are many restaurants. Fewer dining options in immediate area--perhaps offer a list of recommendations.
Beautifully appointed everywhere, with relaxing music, interesting books to view while passing time, and wonderful service throughout. Close to Covent Garden and British Museum, and short walk to the tube. We would definitely consider staying there again.
