Excellent Location, Great ValuePosted Nov 13, 2015
Pros: price+location, helpful staff, incl. ample breakfast, Easybus nearby, grocery store and tube station around the corner; comfortable and clean bedding
Cons: Rug, small things like suitcase racks, tissue box
Location: Near Earls Court station, EasyBus stop to LGW airport. Walkable to sites in Kensington, District Line 12 min ride to Westminster Pier
Overall top value, especially: Location, Location, Location Other hotels in same neighborhood charged 200-500 USD, much more than the Rushmore's fee. Pros: EasyBus transportation to/from LGW airport convenient, comfortable, reasonably-priced (7 pounds 95/one way); EasyBus stop east 10-min. walk from hotel. Around the corner is Earls Court station (District and Piccadilly Lines), a grocery store, other shops Safe, 1-mile walk to Royal Acad. of Music, Royal Albert Hall, museums 12-minute underground ride to Westminster Pier for Thames River cruises, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament EvanEvans Tour Bus pickup point 5-minute walk away Beds, pillows, blankets extremely comfortable Fresh, nutritious, filling breakfast included with good variety in pleasant breakfast room with glass ceiling, nicely decorated. Cheerful, diligent staff clearly is interested in helping guests enjoy their stay Staff printed out needed paperwork for us, provided maps and directions, stored luggage for us on last day Cons: Although bedding was great, rug can use some updating. It is a basic hotel; Would have appreciated tissue box, larger soap, 2 suitcase racks (one for each of us) Not a luxury-level hotel, so don't expect this. But again, overall, Price+Value = Excellent Hotel. We were more than satisfied. We slept very comfortably and safely, which is the main concern.

Small space but convenient location & great staff!Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: nothing - the room was small but that's usual for houses (now converted to hotels) in London
Location: close to Piccadilly Line station - very convenient to travel from. Close to the V&A Museum and Knightsbridge area.
The hotel is very close to the Earls Court station - which made it so convenient to travel from and get to from the airport etc. Over all great location and perfect for a single traveller. I had the only room on the ground floor - small but neat and just right for one person. It had a window and a pleasant outlook. The staff were always very pleasant and very helpful! That was the highlight of the stay really. Breakfast was good - lots of options. Only downside was how small the shower area was in the bathroom. If you're a slightly large person it might help to check which room you're being assigned before arrival and make sure there is a bigger shower stall in it!!!

Pros: Friendly staff
It was a nice hotel. It is small, but clean and in a great location. Perfect place to come back to and sleep after being out all day.

Easy access but paying for age of hotelPosted Oct 12, 2015
Pros: The staff as well as that the hotel was staffed 24 hours per day.
Cons: Outfitting for an elevator as well as figuring out if anything can be done regarding helping with the noise.
Location: 2 minute walk from Earl's Court Tube Station with access to everything around London within a 10 minute ride. Food in walking distance.
The staff at The Rushmore was more than excellent. They were accommodating to every request and did their best to help us with all our questions. The location is great. They are located a 2 minute walk from a tube station on two major lines; easy access to everything. The age of the hotel means unless you are on the main floor, you are hoisting all your luggage up the narrow, winding stairs and the thin walls left much to be desired. We had very loud neighbors, with a child who ran from one end of the room to the other. It sounded as if they were pounding on our wall and it was awful. They only slept about 5-6 hours per night and woke us up every morning, well before we would get up ourselves. The walls were thin enough that you could hear the actual conversations, not just mumbling. Ear plugs didn't alleviate this, either. The age of the hotel meant also that there was a loose fixture in the heater that would squeal when the heat came on. We went to bed and woke up more than once with massive headaches between these two events. The fabric over the bed had dark stains in places that should probably be bleached to keep it looking nice.

DiscretoPosted Oct 9, 2015
Quartiere piacevole vicino a importanti musei.

Great staff. Excellent location.Posted Oct 8, 2015
Stayed at the Rushmore Hotel for eight nights in lower level "quadruple" room #1. It's just a short walk from Earl's Court Underground station, but very quiet inside the hotel. This is a traditional British hotel. Every staff member is friendly and attentive to guests. The breakfast crew did an outstanding job. Breakfast choices were slightly different each day, but cereal, toast, cheeses, cold meats, yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, baked goods, juices, coffee and tea were available daily. Breakfast was served on china, not styrofoam and the nicest thing was that no guest showed up in their pajamas!

Pros: Location great. 1 minute from Earls Court Station. Continental breakfast only but very fresh & all that you need. Excellent staff.
Cons: Old building without modern facilities like lifts & aircon so hard to change it.
Location: Close to tube lots of eateries around. A good base to trip around London
Nice stay. Very pleasant & helpful staff. Good breakfast. Large rooms by London standard. room a little dated but had a recently renovated bathroom. Lots of narrow steps & no lift. Fairly warm rooms even in late September - no aircon.

Perfect for a 1 night business tripPosted Oct 2, 2015
Lovely attentive staff and greeting, have directions and let me leave my bag before check-in. Cosy double room, nice furnishings and bathroom (while small). And right next door to Earls Court tube. Continental breakfast buffet is just the cereal toast croissant fruit eggs, but fine for a morning snack.
