nice hotel but could be better

Didn't get what I booked , hold in a towel dust on the table by the sofa , white mark on the mirror. Helpful receptionist who wanted me £500 to move a room. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Very good location. Room service did get in how room to pick up a tray at 10am when we were fast sleep. Really !!! Maybe it wasn't a day . I will see if I will stay there again

We had such a lovely experience at Sofitel London St. James. The location is truly perfect for a week for sightseeing in London. The staff was so wonderful and helpful, and we received complimentary welcome treats as well as a special dessert sent to the room for my birthday. The queen bed room was a bit small, but it was still very clean and comfortable with many amenities. Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT HOTEL--GREAT LOCATION

THE HOTEL WAS IMMACULATE FROM THE LOBBY TO THE ROOM TO THE BATHROOMS. I INSPECT THE BATHROOMS AND ROOM UPON ARRIVAL VERY CLOSELY. HOTEL HAS TURNDOWN SERVICE EVERY NIGHT. VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF. IT IS PRICEY-BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. ONE WORD OF ADVICE, PAY FOR THE NEXT HIGHER ROOM RATE, THE CHEAPEST ROOMS ARE WALK IN CLOSETS, FOR 96 EURO, THE UPGRADE IS WORTH IT.

Beautiful hotel in excellent location

From the minute we arrived to the moment we checked out the staff and hotel were amazing! They treated us as individuals and we felt special! The staff was so attentive to every need and the hotel and our room was clean and nicely appointed!

luxury hotel with a great location

Pros: the gracious hospitality of the staff
Cons: we just missed seeing the Christmas decorations! - wouldn't change a thing!
Location: Piccadilly Circus, shopping at Harrod's, London by Night bus tour, Big Ben, Westminster Abby, the British Museum, London Theatre, and the London Eye!

Great hotel in perfect location

Great hotel with great staff made our city break perfect. Ideal location for transport, shopping and sight seeing. Could not have been better. From check in to check out we could not fault it. Same time same place next year.
