Hotel Wouldn't answer the phone

Tried to ask for Late check in. Hotel location would not answer phone no matter how many times I let it ring. Finally one attempt I was on hold for 30 minutes and then the call was disconnected. The reservations department on the other hand did answer, and had no information on the reservation whatsoever because the reservation is made on Expedia, so they were unable to assist because of severe shortcomings in their system.
