Fantastic boutique hotel

My husband and I stayed in the Ampersand for three nights before moving on to Paris. Upon arriving after a long flight from Denver, the staff was incredibly friendly and took us up to our room and carefully went over all of the amenities. The mini bar was filled daily with complimentary beverages and the coffee/tea bar was also well stocked.
In the bathroom were lush bathrobes and slippers as well as toiletries, loofahs, makeup remover towelettes, and all of the other basics that most hotels stock. There was also an adorable rubber duck chilling out on the edge of the bathtub. The tub was not standard as I was expecting, but was actually pretty deep for soaking and the rain showerhead was lovely.
We didn't get a room with a view, unfortunately but we didn't request one either. After staying at the Ampersand, our boutique hotel experience in Paris was a pretty big letdown...so I think it's safe to say that they set the bar high here. I only wish we had stayed longer so we could have enjoyed a tea service or a meal at the restaurant. We will definitely stay here again when we return to London.
