Hotel Belgrave was a nice hotel property where we had a pleasant and trouble-free 5-night stay. Our room was nice, not dated and well equipped. Our room had a nook with a chaise lounge and this nook contained the only exterior window. The nook served as a storage area for us but could be a comfortable reading retreat for others. Bed, bathroom and shower were all good. Except for an occasional hallway noise our room was quiet. The front desk was always staffed when we went through the lobby, staff accommodated our questions/concerns and stowed our bags until our room was ready. One thing Belgrave did not provide in our bathroom was a pair of wash cloths - i.e. a towel you would use to wash your face at the sink. Upon questioning, it is simply a type of towel they did not have. I think Belgrave was among the nicer hotel properties in the Pimlico area (the uniformity of the buildings made hotels look kind of the same from the street). Having not been to the Pimlico neighborhood before, the uniformity of the buildings takes some getting used to, but as we explored a little more in the area there are some nice breakfast places and restaurants to be found. We used the Pimlico tube station often. Westminster, B. palace and parliament buildings are walkable from Belgrave but be prepared to do some zig zagging through the streets.
