SITUATION IDEALE PRES DE VICTORIA STATION

Posted Jul 18, 2016

Great location, smallish room

Posted Jul 13, 2016
Pros: The location and the restaurants in the neighborhood.
Cons: Bigger rooms, an elevator, more necessities in the room like towels and soaps.
Location: Walking distance to Victoria Subway station. From there, all of London is at your fingertips.
Tiny little room with the bare necessities for a one night stay. The location is great with plenty of awesome restaurants nearby.

Very convenient, cheap clean hotel for short stay

Posted Jul 10, 2016
Pros: Price for the facilities, cleanliness opening window and ceiling fan, surprisingly comfortable bed, quiet location. Reception staff were nice
Cons: Waitress in the morning could have been a bit more friendly, choice of brown toast, and maybe a couple of biscuits with the tea maker in room.
Location: Very close to Victoria coach and Train, convenient to get round London and by Gatwick express only 40 mins from airport
Chose the Dover through trip advisor as I needed a cheap clean hotel close to Victoria Train station. The room was small but had all you need, the ceiling fan and opening window meant I didn't have the usual hot stuffy room which applies to a lot of the London small hotels. The room was clean and bed much more comfortable than expected. But now to the bathroom which although clean which was the main thing was accessed through the bedroom door and a couple of high steps. Room 24 was on the landing and this made the positioning of the bathroom difficult. As I do not have mobility problems it was ok but if I had been staying any longer than 2 nights I would have asked for a change as it is a safety hazard, a large person would not have been able to manage, or if you'd had a few drinks! It was small a wet room, the shower took a while to warm up but again was ok. Clean towels were provided and bed made. Breakfast as I expected from reviews was toast and cereal, no choice of type of bread coffee and tea was from a machine to serve yourself there was also a choice of fruit juice. It was basic but acceptable to set yourself up for the day.

Convenient location, basic, secure accommodation

Posted Jul 1, 2016
Pros: Proximity to coach station, comfort (no frills) and security at low price. A very decent value.
Cons: Offer whole wheat toast at breakfast in addition to white bread
Location: Easy walk from Victoria coach station. Queen's jubilee or Kensington/Hyde Pk walks too
Hotel double met minimal needs of overnighting in basic room for two with comfortable bed and clean, crisp linens, very small yet adequate en suite bathroom and suitable breakfast of juice, coffee, cereals (sugared, bran-ed, muesli-ed), yogurts and toast (spreads for which included butter, jams, nutella). Decent WiFi speed. . Front desk 24 hours and overall secure feeling about establishment. Arrived before 1pm check in time but were able to deposit luggage and wander unencumbered.

Convenient location

Convenient location and clean facilities. Negatives: No air conditioning; no elevator. Positives: Ease of check-in, helpful staff, free WIFI, free Continental breakfast, location, updated bathroom (albeit somewhat small). Overall a good value. I would return to stay here, but NOT in hot weather.

Nice hotel, close to rail links and amenities

Posted Jun 10, 2016
Pros: Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had a lovely shower
This hotel is well positioned close to a main and underground railway station, easy to find and get to. There are lots of nice pubs and restuarants nearby and it is easy to get into central London by rail or on foot. It is in a nice area where you can walk round exploring some of the beautiful streets and mews. Our room was small but well equipped, with a comfy bed and lovely new en-suite. Breakfast was cereal, toast and yoghurt but that was fine with us.

The room no value for the money. Breakfast very disappointing.
