Pros: I always assumed it's would be starchy and pretentious. NOT AT ALL. The staff can be very very proper for those that need it and gauge people - I.E. At my request called me by my first name .. no Mr this and Mr that.... Really friendly but better still SUPER PROFESSIONAL. I stay at 5 stars all the time - but I'd forgotten how customer services can be smooth and none invasive. Concierge took 5 minutes to get me some totally sold out theatre tickets !!! Amazing
Cons: Breakfast. I asked for a bagel with cream cheese. Bagel arrived - no cream cheese. No worries - I'd be fine with butter.... 75% of the way through two giant plates of cream cheese arrive from the kitchen and "we will happily give you another bagel".... no fine thanks. The bill - 6 quid for the bagel then I think another 8 for the cream cheese that I only "saw in passing".... The cream cheese SHOULD have been deducted and frankly the bagel comp'd to say "whoops - sorry!"... Plus OMG How much for a bagel and cream cheese??!!!
Location: Super central to everything. A massive refurb puts you in a modern / fresh and yet wonderfully historic property.

Baseball caps and shorts in the American bar reall

Location: The location of the Savoy is excellent for Theatres, covent Garden and restaurants you can walk almost anywhere.
Baseball caps and shorts in the American bar really! It's been several years since I went to the Savoy and was very disappointed to find in the Savoy Grill people wearing jeans and open neck shirt's I was even more surprised when having a cocktail in the American bar a group walked in wearing baseball caps and shorts this was very disappointing and not reflecting the quality of the Savoy. Rather ironic I thought was £5000 for a vintage glass of cognac. The rooms were comfortable and staff excellent although I did have to check my bill and have it corrected as I was overcharged.

Mixed feelings

Pros: Location is great. The service is good. It is clean and a historic place.
Cons: Special requests.
Location: Near everything!! Theatres, museums, the river.
A hotel with the name and reputation that the Savoy has, should be excellent in all areas. The concierge was very good, room service also, but when a simple request was made to have a birthday dessert brought as a surprise, the breakfast people messed up. When I complained about the mess up, they sent champagne and flowers as an appology...., but to the wrong room!! Our room was nice, but considering that we booked for 2 weeks, I would have expected to have a nice view, as their web page mentions. My view was of a small dark alley.

朝の食事で和食を選んだところ、ごはんが非常に柔らかく、お味噌汁に、けんちん汁、温泉卵がお出汁の上に浮かんだもので、汁物が三つもあるという不思議な献立でした。

Absolutely amazing

Pros: All the hotel was fantastic...lovely public areas .Thames foyer opulent and our king-size deluxe room was amazing
Cons: There is nothing negative to say about the hotel
Location: Central location ..savoy theatre opposite and close to the Thames
Stayed at the savoy for one night..it was amazing ..deluxe room and bathroom fantastic. All very opulent..had cocktails at the American bar. Amazing experience..delicious cocktails .about £20 each on average but worth having one for the experience ..you can choose to have breakfast in the Thames foyer or kaspers bar. Either would be great .we went to kaspers..good breakfast and plenty of choice ..expensive at £32 but worth the experience..would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ..I better start saving now 😊

ロンドンで一番トラディショナルなホテル

Pros: ベルの男性がタクシーを呼ぶ時、口笛を吹きます。それがとても恰好よく何度かタクシーを呼んでもらいました。
Cons: エクスペディアで予約したのでその旨告げてチェックインしたのですが、その時もフーンという感じでした。 その時はあまり気にしなかったのですが、チェックアウトの時にはびっくりでした。 エクスペディアでの予約は歓迎しないのでしょうか?
Location: ホテルの場所は素晴らしいので、でこでも楽に行くことができました。
一度は泊まってみたい有名なホテル。主人は40年ぶり、私は初めての利用なので楽しみにしていました。 ツインをリクエストしていましたが、海外はキングベッドの場合が多いので仕方ないなと思いました。 ホテルの従業員はさすがサヴォイと感激しながら大満足でしたし、ロンドンに駐在している息子一家も憧れのホテルに来れたと喜んでいました。 がっかりしたのはチェックアウトの時です。びっくりするような金額を請求されたのです。私たちが利用したのは朝食、アフタヌーンティ、ショップでお土産だけだったのに、かなり上乗せしてありました。 詳しく確認しようとしたらさっと隠されてしまい詳しくは見ていませんが、とても後味の悪い思いをしました。 エクスペディアでの予約は初めてだったので非常にあせりました。

Pros: ロンドンといえば、ここに泊まりたかったので満足しています。ホテル内のグリルは本当に美味しいかつ、日本人の量でよければ値段も安いと感じました。
Cons: ラゲージの受け取りに結局20分程度かかったことくらいでしょうか。でも、そのあとタクシーまで運んでいただいたりサービスがよかったのでほぼ問題ではありません。

Lovely hotel, fabulous location!

Pros: Very nice staff - they all seem to all genuinely care. Beautiful hotel....very visually attractive in both the lobby and the room.
Cons: Closet space....as mentioned above it was very surprising that the size of the closet in the initial room was so small...
Location: Extremely central location - great theatres and restaurants....we walked to Buckingham Palace and to Harrods....very close to the tube as well.
Very nice experience. We were at The Savoy for 7 nights so initially we were disappointed by the room we were given (we booked Luxury category) as it was extremely close to a building with no view at all other than this building so offered no privacy and almost felt claustrophobic given how close we were to it. We felt the room and location within the hotel didn't fit/align with what we had booked and the price we were paying. We were also surprised that the room had an extraordinarily small half closet - completely unable to accommodate two people's clothes for such a long stay. We called the reception desk and Emily (who had originally checked us in), was extremely kind and understanding. The hotel was completely booked but she committed to moving us in two days - which she did - we moved to a room on the 7th floor that had a much more reasonable closet and, had a terrific view of the Thames from a small window. The second room seemed to fit the description of the Luxury category we had booked. We were wondering if they initially gave us a lesser room given how booked they were when we arrived. We arrived after 6 on a Saturday evening so wondered if all the good rooms had already been given out. Had they not moved us/understood our concerns I would have been very disappointed. They handled it very well. Wonderful concierge staff, doormen, room service, etc. Enjoyed dining at Simpson's one evening and Gordon Ramsey's another evening....terrific food and ambiance!

川沿いの静かなホテル

Pros: ホテルに到着した時のドアマンの方々が、何時も笑顔で親しみをもって迎えてくれるので、帰って来たという気分でとても落ち着けるホテルです。
Cons: バトラーが、何時も良くしてくれるので助かっています。 もし、滞在中に担当のバトラーが、頻繁に変わらなければもっといいのにと思います。
Location: 川沿いで景色がいいので、落ち着いてすごせるのと、コベントガーデンが目の前ですし、劇場も近くにあり何をするにも便利です。
川沿いに面しているので、お部屋からの眺めがとても良く、又、お部屋も清潔なので落ち着いてゆっくりできるホテルです。
