A hotel with the name and reputation that the Savoy has, should be excellent in all areas. The concierge was very good, room service also, but when a simple request was made to have a birthday dessert brought as a surprise, the breakfast people messed up. When I complained about the mess up, they sent champagne and flowers as an appology...., but to the wrong room!!
Our room was nice, but considering that we booked for 2 weeks, I would have expected to have a nice view, as their web page mentions. My view was of a small dark alley.
