テムズ川やロンドンアイやビックベンが目の前に広がり、設備もサービスも最高のホテルでした。 日本人の親切なコンシェルジュもおり、いろいろ手配をしていただき、すごくロンドンを楽しめました。

Lovely hotel facilities, lousy staff

Room was not ready for 3 hours... Check out was delayed because they couldn't get the luggage to the fro t door promptly... Staff seemed a little arrogant... Concierge-arranged driver from airport was stopped by police (while we were in car) for a traffic ticket (cell phone usage while driving) (he was answering call from hotel staff...)

Pros: 格式高く歴史のあるホテルである点、各種レストラン・バーから、プールやスポーツジムに至るまで(特にうちは子どもがいるため、プールのあるホテルを探すことが優先でした)、ファシリティが充実している点以上に、スタッフの皆さんの対応が親切で温かく、プロに徹していたことです。
Cons: 特にありません。強いて言えば、部屋がやや狭く、また中庭に面していたため視界が悪く(カーテンもあまり開けられない)、ホテルからはテムズ川をまったく臨めなかったことが残念でした。
Location: チャーリング・クロスやテンプルに近いのはもちろんのこと、コベント・ガーデンがとても近いので(スタッフに場所を尋ねるといいです)、コベント・ガーデンで食事するのもおすすめです。またストランド通り沿いに、セインズベリー(ホテルを出て左へ)、テスコ(ホテルを出て右へ)などのスーパーもあります。
チャーリング・クロス、エンバンクメント、テンプル、コベント・ガーデンの駅から近く、トラファルガー広場、ナショナルギャラリー、ピカデリーサーカス、各種ミュージカルの劇場、それにロンドン・アイなどもすべて徒歩圏内の立地抜群のホテルです。サボイホテルと言えば、長い歴史があり、格式高いホテルなので、最初少し緊張していたのですが、エクスペディアを介して届いたメールに「到着が少し遅くなるかもしれない」とのメールを送ったところ、すぐに「了解しました。お待ちしております。」と丁寧な返信がかえって来たことから始まり、ホテルに到着してドアマンがタクシーのドアを開けてくれたとたん、優しい笑顔で「ミスター〇〇ですね?」とこちらの名前を呼んで、ウェルカムしてくれました。レセプション、コンシェルジュ、レストランスタッフ、プールスタッフ、部屋の掃除担当の方まで、皆、本当に優しく親切で、感動しました。

Central London on the Strand

Pros: Interior design, taxi service, overall top notch customer service you won't find at most places.
Cons: Formal AND some informal eateries need to be provided. I am not at all a tea person which seems to clash with everyone in the country of England.
Location: Central London. Anything to do, shop, eat, opera, tennis, sightseeing.
Stayed here for the Championships (Wimbledon). LOTS of things to do in this part of London. A little bit congested as you would expect for a large metropolitan area. Taxi rank and service are incredible and absolutely first class at this hotel. If you want to visit London and don't want to rent a car, have NO fears here. Newly renovated and stunning architecture; surprisingly very affordable. Eateries are more of the formal variety although they highly encourage in-room dining with room service with a very large variety of food.

Great hotel, fantastic staff

The Savoy is a luxurious experience rather than just a hotel. The location is splendid o be sure, the services, food etc. But it is the Savoy staff that make the experience luxurious. Everyone knows why they are there and everyone takes personal responsibility for giving the client that experience

Totally excellent from arrival to departure

Pros: Pretty much everything
Cons: At a loss to think of something.
Location: Its bang in the middle of London - everything.
Not many five star hotels really surprise you. Smart maybe. Polite service maybe. On arrival the car was parked, not the usual £100 valet price either. Everyone addresses you by name, clearly a process but it is done well. Room was clean and bathroom was a good size and excellent shower. Room service was great and the food exceptional, better than other local restaurants easily. Heated trolly's keep it warm on arrival. Breakfast was also wonderful. This is the first time I have been genuinely impressed by a hotel. We have previously stayed in the Intercontinental Park Lane and this leaves it standing as an experience.

Nice hotel, close to everything

Very nice hotel with very caring staff. They are trying to do your stay best of the best. Room is big and very comfortable.
