Very hot weather but!!!

Posted Sep 16, 2016
Very very hot weather but more could have been done to cool the room with a minimum outlay by the owners aka complimentary fan, the room directly below seemed to be being used for the manufacturing of handbags and at one point I could slightly smell solvents so peeked inside from the footpath/street and saw boxes upon boxes of bags and unknown items and a Semi naked Chinese looking lady working in full view from the public street, this wasn't advertised but I'm sure the owners didn't know as she seemed to work only at night and I didn't want any trouble from her, the room was ok for the money for a reasonable area just a few stops from Euston via tube, Shame about the lady below also behaving oddly and erraticaly over my Mrs using her vape pen outside the premises, nice and friendly check in staff at booking in HQ at the hotel down the street, it was ok but I couldn't recommend it other than to say it was ok 5/10 fair price for the area, large room, clean, quiet at night, close to shops and Camden market just a stroll away

Cheap and cheerful room. Good for a night stay when you are off out in London. Might not be good for an extended stay as room facilities not adequate for that. More for students or international back packers.

Pleasant but room may not be at address you booked

Posted Oct 9, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed here more than once. The rooms tend to be clean and generally well kept but somewhat less than new. (Chipped paint; wonky shower; that sort of thing.) My big gripe is that they have rooms at several addresses so finding your room becomes a bit of a treasure hunt. Something like this... You'll start by going to the address you booked, feeling a bit wet from the rain but not getting your coat out of your bag because you're nearly there; can't get in; phone hotel; discover they've gone home; wander about confused; wish you'd got your coat out; bump into someone else in same situation; they happen to know where the main hotel address is; walk to hotel; search everywhere for keys; finally find keys taped to front of hotel; discover your room is at another address; put coat on; the rain stops; you finally find room. Tip: don't try this with luggage.

Great room (I got an upgrade) and great staff. The suburb was very nice with a little central strip of grocery stores, restaurants, etc.
