London Houseboat Rentals

"We weren't sure what to expect as we've never stayed on a boat before but we were all pleasantly surprised. Check-in process was easy, we had great communication with the host and Sara met us at the entrance of the docks to show us everything we needed to know regarding the in/out procedure with the dock and anything else regarding the boat. There are two bedrooms, each one on opposite sides of the boat. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds with a smaller bed between them...

"Fabulous location next to Tower Bridge. Very accessible to Tube, restaurants and the marathon course. We are a family of sailors so staying at the marina was delightful! Boat had everything we needed and as boat owners, we were well equipped to settle in. Truly hated to leave!"

"What a lovely “out of the box” experience for us Canadians. Slowly rocked to sleep under such a cozy comforter. Every neighbour we met with so friendly in the area. Lovely pub nearby. Highly recommend this boat and the experience with the owners. Thank you so much and we will back "

"Taggs Island is such an interesting little enclave close to London and unbeknownst to us before. Set in a small inlet off the Thames, the house is one of a group facing onto the water. Linda, the host, has very much personalised it and provides every comfort. Although an expensive add-on, highly recommend the hot tub, which is deep and relaxing. Only down-side to the situation and rather shattering the peace, is being on the Heathrow flightpath, which we hadn't thought about!"

"This is a fun place to stay in so much as my room had a massive outside area, the bed was great and I could look out over the water to watch the fun of Canary Wharf Its very very basic. I had no shower gel etc in the shower, the toilet is a marine toilet, no water offered (or available) so needed me to visit a local shop. Its near all the bars so quite noisy. I'd stay there again but not for that price. Its too expensive for what it is. "

"Easily the best place I have ever stayed. Lovely location, so relaxing and quiet. Host was extremely accomodating and easy to communicate with. Wish I could have stayed longer, and will be back at next available opportunity. 5+stars!"
