Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff

Smooth, easy check in. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Hotel is well kept and clean. The room was well appointed and right on target or even a little upscale for its price range. Bed was very comfortable. I would choose this hotel again.

Great location

Pros: A comfortable hotel, excellent beds and bathroom, very clean and good linens. The staff we very helpful when we asked for advice on where to visit.
Cons: Breakfast finished at 9.30, a little too early for those of us who would like a lazy morning!
Location: Central to many transport links and easy to drive to. Ideal to visit LA or Disneyland, both less than 30 minutes drive away.
A great location, excellent restaurant (Utopia) on the opposite corner. Just a short walk to the Pike Outlet Shopping Centre, the Oceanside Village marina/shops and the beach. We were spoilt for choice for restaurants and bars. Parking was easy and reasonable. We felt very safe walking round the area at night.

Close to bars

Exceptional Staff

Great late check in and out , Very helpful staff , walking distance to the beach and favorite bars, parking on the street is a must to avoid a $15 dollar overnight parking fee from the hotel, overall a great experience. We will definitely return and replace our Hilton honors

Excellent Value

Location: Good location and close to most everything within walking distance.
Needed a good value for an overnight stay. Close to a very good wine bar and restaurants. Easy check in and out and parking.

Pros: Location
Cons: Microwave in room and snack/food for sale.
I've stayed here before numerous times, the last time was before their renovation which looks great. The room was very clean and kept that way each day when I returned. In my opinion though was too much effort was given to the look without enough thought about us older less flexible people. Have to duck down beneath the bathroom counter everyday to get at the hand towels, bath towels and wash clothes can be a bit much early in the morning while still stiff. Getting the whole coffee maker assortment tray out from the cabinet was challenging to say the vey least, as you have pull it out to use it. On checking in, I was asked if I had a car and was told it was $15 a day to park, was a bit excessive in my opinion, I mean you're paying to stay there. Holiday Express nearby was only $10. The check clerk was very pleasant but failed to give me a parking pass which I found out the second night parking there with a notice on my windshield informing my car would be towed. Which shocked me as I was paying to park there and the clerk took my rental car info with license plate number.

I can see if we can provide a solution or a request form our guests can note to have towels on top of the counter. I also apologize if our parking seemed excessive. We are in the heart of downtown Long Beach and parking is very limited, however, we are walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. I apologize for the confusion with not receiving a parking permit. Nothing it towed without my authorization first. I hope we have another opportunity to have you as our guest.
