I flew in for a funeral so I wasn't at the hotel much and only stayed 1 night. The hotel was fine for the purpose it served.

an amazing weekend vacation!

everything was wonderful! From the hotel staff and the easy check in, to the clean and comfortable room. The champagne brunch was wonderful, and all interactions with the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I cannot wait to stay there again!

There's a first time for everything

I had no complaints about my stay other than what I think is nothing more than a scheme for the Marriott to add extra fees on something that has historically been a benefit included. I ordered room service around 8pm the second night of my stay. I had an early flight the next morning and was already in my pjs so just wanted to grab a bite and crash. When I ordered I was told I would have to come down to get the food myself when it was ready unless I wanted to pay an extra $5 charge. I was truly shocked - I'm at a nice hotel and I am being charged for room service to actually be room service ? Room service isn't room service if the food isn't brought to your room. I will never stay at a Marriott again knowing this policy. Not because I'm a room service snob, but because it is clear the Marriott is finding ways to add more fees to its customers stay for things which Should be included

Thank you for your review and comments. The $5.00 room service fee is the service charge/tip. This is the new standards for all Marriott Hotels.

one night stay

Pros: We were on our way to Catalina Island.
Cons: We were happy
The service was excellent. We really enjoyed the view we had and the restaurant was great.

Excellent Hotel

This hotel is very beautiful and close to airport. The only thing is it is not close to any eateries unless you drive and they do not have a hot tub or heated pool. It cools off pretty early in the day in Long Beach, would have been nice to get into a hot tub. It is close to the beach and the customer service is Top-Notch! And got to love the free parking!

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you staying with us. Unfortunately, we do not have a whirlpool although we have an outdoor and indoor pools. We also provide complimentary shuttle within a 3-mile radius to include the Shopping Mall and Area Restaurants. We hope to see you back soon.
