Consistantly great

Pros: Friendly & helpful staff; great rooms, beds & pillows; fairly quiet considering it's almost adjacent to Long Beach airport.
3rd stay in the last 12 months - as usual everything was great - staff, room, service, etc. No sense in staying anywhere else.

I flew in for a funeral so I wasn't at the hotel much and only stayed 1 night. The hotel was fine for the purpose it served.

Very good location and very nice staff

Staff was very friendly. Room was ok. Thermostat was falling off of wall, and not sure comforter on one bed was clean. It was wrinkled, other one was ironed. Nice towels, bar and pool area.

everything was wonderful! From the hotel staff and the easy check in, to the clean and comfortable room. The champagne brunch was wonderful, and all interactions with the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I cannot wait to stay there again!

There's a first time for everything

I had no complaints about my stay other than what I think is nothing more than a scheme for the Marriott to add extra fees on something that has historically been a benefit included. I ordered room service around 8pm the second night of my stay. I had an early flight the next morning and was already in my pjs so just wanted to grab a bite and crash. When I ordered I was told I would have to come down to get the food myself when it was ready unless I wanted to pay an extra $5 charge. I was truly shocked - I'm at a nice hotel and I am being charged for room service to actually be room service ? Room service isn't room service if the food isn't brought to your room. I will never stay at a Marriott again knowing this policy. Not because I'm a room service snob, but because it is clear the Marriott is finding ways to add more fees to its customers stay for things which Should be included

Thank you for your review and comments. The $5.00 room service fee is the service charge/tip. This is the new standards for all Marriott Hotels.
