Chosen for its proximity to Metro and free breakfast. Property was simple and clean. Area is not swanky, but we felt safe and metro to downtown is a block away. Staff was always responsive and kind to requests. Breakfast was very simple and the same every day. We ended up buying a few basics to make it better. For example there are quick oats, but nothing to accompany them and the mains would run out by 9:30 each morning, but no more were made. They also don’t clean the tables between users which is a bit gross as they use black table clothes. Would rather there was no covering and some supplies to clean your own surface. Lots of staff standing behind the counter chatting. Might be better to have them wiping tables between users. Good value for price in New York.

Room was clean and comfortable but plumbing was very noisy all night. Remote for tv was not programmed properly, so did not work. Information on Expedia website indicated that parking was available but did not indicate the $20 a night fee. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
