I have stayed at many different Hampton Inns and this was my least favorite stay . The breakfast was very poor compared to other Hampton Inns and it took a lot of U turns to get to the building which is next to the Long Island Expressway .

Our parking lot is on the smaller side and is shared withtwo nursing homes, a nursery school, and a large shopping center. It is also close to the airport and thusmust be monitored closely. Staff were nice but did not know of places to recommend for guest to dine at except for what is obviously across from the Hotel. A worker recommended a place and it was Not At all what she said. Also it would be nice to add a small bar at the Hotel!

The hotel is conveniently located, but its age is visible. The staff was not responsive. I needed to complain twice to have my shower fixed. And the "every other day room service" was not showing up for four days.

Rooms were clean. Two water features at entrance were left unkept, broken and overrun with trash and cigarette butts. Have always loved this property until my last two stays. It is apparent that they are letting it go downhill. Breakfast ok if you go early or before the relocated residents and homeless come to eat and make take home plates then It just becomes dangerous.

If you get a room with a double door,good luck sleeping if someones up nextdoor bc you can hear them as if theyre in your room. Lots of dogs everywhere so be careful if your dog isnt that friendly or old. Truckers in and out all day and night,random people parked in the parking lot all night. Eh on the staff

Good and bad
My family was there for my Mothers' funeral. We accidently showed up a day earlier then the booking and the staff was able to still accommodate us for two rooms. The breakfast was good although the tables were wobbly. The room was comfortable but the staff failed to communicate that we were given an extra hour to check out. Also the water pressure was bad and toilet clogged.

Part time room service full time costs
My issue is what we get for the price. Turns out house keeping occurs every other day. Why are we not paying a reduced rate since employees are part time now. The hotel had the aroma of marijuana everywhere. I understand it is legal, but the smell is horrible and I thought smoking/vaping in rooms was against policy? Suffolk County and NY State also appear to house homeless and illegal immigrants there on the tax payer dime. Multiple times there was a family with their belongings along with a mother dog and 6 puppies in the lobby. Paying customers should be made aware of this situation at time of booking so we can decide if we are comfortable with staying there or not.

Thank you for your comments. Hilton standard is to clean rooms every other day, no matter what hotel you go to. It used to be once every four days. Our hotel is 100% no smoking but unfortunately people do not always obey. The woman you are referring to was not homeless or illegal; her house had just burned down and she needed a place to stay. We appreciate your business.

Disappointed
Very clean hotel. They pulled a sneaky move at 2 AM Charged my credit card $13 for parking. When I checked in they asked me for information on my vehicle and never said that there was a parking charge. I confronted desk in the morning and they said they would reimburse me. Still waiting.

Our parking lot is on the smaller side and is shared withtwo nursing homes, a nursery school, and a large shopping center. It is also close to the airport and thusmust be monitored closely. The parking fee is stated at the bottom of all confirmation e–mails. You did not see a refund for the parking charge because we never charged your card for it; we removed it before you checked out. We are grateful for the choice you made to be a guest of our hotel. We appreciate your business and hope that when your travels bring you back to the Long Island area, you will give us anotheropportunity, as guest satisfaction is our number one priority.
