Very nice for the price

Pros: Great staff, decent breakfast
For the price, this facility is very nice, quiet, and clean. The amenities are great, also. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and breakfast. My only complaint is the heat/air unit is dated and very loud when it runs.

to visit family in the area

Pros: A great breakfast at no cost. Also a indoor pool if you want that and wifi. 2 Computers in the lobby to use. You will be very happy with the place.
Location: Near the Long Island EXPW. Easy to get anywhere on the Island. And do anything on the Island that you came there for.
This was a good location to Smith town where our family lives. Clean rooms and great housekeeing staff.

Wrong room type

Pros: Location was perfect. Right near major roads and where we needed to be.
Cons: Get the room type right.
Location: The location was perfect. It was near the highway and a lot of nice places to eat.
the room had only one double bed and was very small.

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Very nice room. Clean room. Comfortable.
Cons: toilet was not cleaned properly
Location: It was very conveniently next to the main highway to head home.
Everything was very nice except the bottom of the toilet was not cleaned properly. The chair my son sat on had something spilled on it he went to the lady which worked there and told her she immediately went over to clean it up, I think it was either syrup or orange juice. The spread of breakfast buffet was terrific.

Hotel being updated outside. Nice breakfast. Could use update in breakfast area. Have used hotel a few times and would go back.

Excellent experience stay in Hampton inn

Pros: The room is big and new, the bed is comfortable not too firm not too soft. Stuff are very friendly and helpful. The odor of the room is great.
Cons: The system of computers in the lobby is not good enough
Location: Great Chinese restaurant "Tao's"
We stay 3 days in Long Island NY during the Labor Day Holiday. This is the best hotel bit Holiday inn and comfort inn. The room is big and new, the bed is comfortable not too firm not too soft. Stuff are very friendly and helpful. The odor of the room is great.

Unexpected overnight for the extended family

It met our needs. I got 2 rooms for 6 family members and found the rooms to be smaller than other places in the Hauppauge area. The bathrooms were tight but manageable. The rooms seemed clean until I saw how filthy my granddaughter's feet were after walking around barefoot for about an hour. That was a little concerning. I would suggest carpet be shampooed regularly and she will wear socks in the future. The free breakfast was a treat. There were many choices; light and healthy or hearty. All appetites should be satisfied by this buffet. As the baby boomers age, I'd like to see all hotel chains add walk-in showers to more of their rooms. They don't have to be wheel chair accessible, just not a high, climb in tub for us elders with severe arthritis.
