Unexpected overnight for the extended family

It met our needs. I got 2 rooms for 6 family members and found the rooms to be smaller than other places in the Hauppauge area. The bathrooms were tight but manageable. The rooms seemed clean until I saw how filthy my granddaughter's feet were after walking around barefoot for about an hour. That was a little concerning. I would suggest carpet be shampooed regularly and she will wear socks in the future.
The free breakfast was a treat. There were many choices; light and healthy or hearty. All appetites should be satisfied by this buffet.
As the baby boomers age, I'd like to see all hotel chains add walk-in showers to more of their rooms. They don't have to be wheel chair accessible, just not a high, climb in tub for us elders with severe arthritis.
