Upon check in, we were ignored. Staff member pointed to her computer screen and indicated that she was in the middle of something. She made us wait until she was done before asking for a credit card from me for incidentals.
After running my card, she says, by the way, there is a $10 parking fee. Not my first time staying here so I know that they don’t charge this regularly.
I ask to speak to a manager- manager says he cannot waive fee. I asked if they could cancel my reservation. They said to contact Expedia. I pulled up the list of fees and incidentals listed on the Expedia website and explained I didn’t agree to pay for parking. The manager said not to complain if I get towed.
I walk outside- plenty of street parking immediately beside their lot. Interestingly, I didn’t see ONE car parked in the lot with a parking pass displayed.
We go to the room- the air conditioner comes on instead of heat. It’s freezing and one person in the party needed accomodations. We call down and they tell us we have to let the cold air blow out for 15-20 minutes before they will offer to move our room.
They were not at full capacity.
The worst hotel in the area. Choose any of the nearby options with proper management and a degree of humanity. Total lack of customer service.
