Great Lobby - HORRIBLE Guest Rooms!

Pros: Lobby appeared updated and nice.
Cons: Cleanliness and regular cleaning.
While I have only had positive experiences at other La Quinta properties, this one made me glad I was only spending one night there. The lobby is very nice, but the guest room left MUCH to be desired. There were light bulbs out, the wall had a LOT of water damage, and there was mold throughout the bathroom and shower. I am NOT a hotel snob and this is the only review I have ever done because it was that bad

Negatives-no pool, no safe, no password for wifi, bed only fair, noisy esp first nite Positives-breakfast, mirror/outlet, location, washer/dryer, good towels

Ok hotel with room for improvement

Pros: Location and price were good.
Cons: Phones did not work Need to have adequate supplies for breakfast and staff for breakfast bar. Common areas and public bathrooms need to be cleaned.
Location: Within one hour of Eastern Long Island. Convenient to Airport..
Staff was good, Hotel was updated. Phones in room did not work. Bed was not comfortable. Breakfast ran out of many items by 9:00 on Saturday including pancake mix. Although there was no pool, there was a very nice spa. May stay there again to give them another opportunity. Staff were professional.

Pretty decent for the price

Pros: Clean, comfortable, affordable, courteous staff. Although we did not bring a pet, I also liked that it is a pet friendly hotel.
Cons: The biggest disappointment was the coffee. The breakfast could have offered few more options like scrambled eggs, sausage, & REAL coffee.
Our stay was uneventful. Quiet through the night, no disturbances or issues.

Facilities fine but clientele rough

Got in very late and received first floor room which was a mistake. Too close to main lobby and lots of noise even at 1am. Had neighbor that must have been on a drug bindge because at 1:30 someone came in room (friend, not staff) and started screaming at them being on a drug bindge and using more F bombs than I have ever heard in my life. I didn't call security only for fear there was such anger they would take it out on me as my room was their only neighbor. I turned up AC unit which was loud enough it drowned out noise and I slept. The next morning their alarm clock was going off for 45min starting at 9:30. I don't think it was section 8 housing but there were a few rough people lingering outside when I arrived at 12am to check in. Could have just been a bad night. Breakfast included but very average.

Holiday haven

Location: Location excellent. 2 minutes from airport! Near LIE and Sunrise highway. Dinner nearby.
Enjoyed the facilities, breakfast good. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Everything worked! other hotels there is always something not working. No USA Today. They stopped providing newspapers.
