Improved since the last time I stayedPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Front office staff very helpful. The ladies at front desk went way above and beyond to help me out.
Cons: I'm quite pleased
Location: I usually have dogs with me so I can't do much outside. we need to be with the dogs at all times. But they have plenty of gas stations, restaurants
I stay at this hotel many times in past. It's always been a good hotel. But it was starting to look shopworn. They spruced it up since my last stay and its feeling good again. (When a hotel starts looking rundown, even if it's clean, it feels dirty. This LaQuinta is clean even when it needed the sprucing up

Pet Friendly hotel for taking our cat in.Posted Sep 19, 2015
Pros: Location was good for us to travel to visit our family on Long Island.
Cons: The morning breakfast buffet could be upgraded a little to offer more selections for coffee and food choices.
Location: WE were spending most of our time visiting our family to assist them in a family loss.
The hotel provided an exercise room and laundry services for us along with the option to have a do not disturb sign placed on our door during the day as we had our pet staying with us and did not want her to get out of the room.

Non Smoking Room??Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The room itself accommodated our needs, but again, was not pleasant to stay in with the smoke smell.
Cons: The smells! The personality of the woman on your staff.
Location: Did not stay long enough to see the sights, but there are parks and beaches nearby, as well as, a variety of restaurants.
The woman who checked us in seemed a bit rude and lacked the basic skills to be personable, which you need when working with people! The gentleman who gave us our key cards was nice though and had a smile on his face. I asked to see if there were any cribs available and was disappointed to hear you only carried two for your entire hotel. I was advised to ask again the next morning when one might be free. I did not NEED it, but would use it if one was around. When I asked the following morning, the woman (different woman) was really sweet and helpful! She found a crib by the evening and had it in our room for us. I also mentioned to her that our room STUNK of cigarettes and that we removed a plastic bag over the smoke detector. She apologized, but did not offer us a different room or any money off. I find it hard to believe that the cleaning staff did not see this. You could not avoid the smell. The hall also had a smell of cigarettes and the stairway smelled like horses had been staying there eating hay. I could not pinpoint why it smelled so bad.

Hotel stayPosted Aug 12, 2015
The couch mattress was uncomfortable especially driving 9 hours. This was my room. My daughters room smelled of smoke and had a plastic cover over a vent. She had two babies only one crib. The second one came the next night. Breakfast was great and some staff at front desk could be more personable. It is not cheap staying 3 nights. Overall stay was pleasant.

Everything smelled of smokePosted Aug 9, 2015
Pulling in seeing someone with head out the second floor window smoking then seeing sitting out the entry doors smoking. Of course the non smoking room smelled of smoke.

Nice hotel. Dog friendly.Posted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: The complimentary breakfast was centrally located and kept quite clean.
Location: The location was nearby where our family was having a reunion. Restaurants are about a 5 minute drive from the hotel.
My husband and I travel often and this is the first time we have ever been at a hotel that did not have complimentary toiletries such as body lotion, hand cream or moisturizers. They did, however, offer a very, very small container of shampoo/conditioner. Also, there wasn't a soap dish or plate to put the bathroom bar of soap on. We had to use the room coffee containers to rinse our mouths or drink water from.
