Nice hotel on the highway

I love this hotel clean and very quite I stay at least twice a month my own get away

My family enjoyed our two days stay. Tbe continental breakfast was more than we expected on a Sunday. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel if you intend to stay in the Long Island NY area.

Not a wise choice!

Pros: The room was not bad at all.
Cons: There is a small fridge, but no microwave. The bathroom was ridiculously small. You have to squeeze in sideways and the shower adjustment was bad.
Location: It is not located anywhere near anything if you have no car. Even the LIRR was a $5.00 fan tide away. The TGIF next door was pretty bad with service.
The check-in was smooth. I came back later to purchase soda and there was no one at the front desk. I was alarmed that something had happened to the clerk. After waiting about 5 minutes, he returned from the opposite side of the lobby, coming in from outside. He smelled of an illegal substance. I did not feel secure in the hotel.

Noisy

Several family members stayed here for one night while we were in town visiting relatives. I had my 2 young children. First the room was not up to par. I'm pretty sure there was mold by the balcony door, there was so much condensation on the window from the heater that water was literally dripping into an electrical outlet. The shower was dirty. You could hear doors slamming constantly. Also around 10pm a hotel party started. It was so loud and obnoxious. You could also hear every car that drove by and being that it's on a busy road, there were many cars. If we had to stay more then one night we would've gone to another hotel. The only good thing was the breakfast in the morning and the staff.

The entire room smelled terrible. We were put in a smoking room and we were non smokers. Overall it was a very bad experience.

2nd time in the area staying at the same hotel is great they are certainly accomodating and their rooms are comfortable.. the breakfast is ok as well.

Good location.. but that's it

Parking lot was not shoveled after the snow that morning making our luggage and children's feet wet while in the parking lot. My two year old slipped on the ice. Room was freezing. Turning heat to 75 did nothing. Had to turn up to 80 to be able to sleep with extra blankets brought from home. When we went to the continental breakfast- which was very nice- they deactivated our room keys even though it was only 9 and checkout was 11. They have a small snack selection in the lobby but they only accept cash. Room was clean and although it was winter and we couldn't use it- it's nice they have an outdoor pool.

My stay was for business. Checking into the hotel consumer service was outstanding. The only problem I had was checking out on December 9, 2016. I actually call on the phone to check out but with the lack of communication and the receptionist putting me on hold I had come in person. When I enter the lobby I thought I was in a night club that's how loud the music was. I had to ask for a second time for the music to be turned down. Since this is the season, it should of been Holiday music playing in the background. This young man truly was relax and not ready to work.

Not great place to stay. Just ok

Pros: Not much
Cons: much regarding room status
Location: Plenty places to eat.
Heating unit was very loud and not warmly effective. Hot water took a while to come on, and not too hot when it came. Cheesy blanket
