We were here for only one night, and we got in late (almost 11 PM) and left the next morning. The front desk staff were excellent: Polite, helpful, and even tried to get us some food from the restaurant, though it was nearly closing time. He told me he would call within 5 minutes to lmk what he could do, and he did-- WOW! In this day and age, I was super impressed with how he went above & beyond.
Our room-- a regular room with a king-sized bed-- was only a few steps from the front desk, so we didn't get to see much of the rest of the hotel, but the bit we saw was older, yet very clean and nicely kept. We had great water pressure & a well-functioning drain in the bathtub (pet peeves of mine), the bed was comfortable, the room pretty quiet despite being close to the reception area, and there was plenty of storage and a cold mini fridge for our drinks (The staff gave us with 2 bottles of water upon check in-- another nice little perk).
The modern, LED back-lit mirror couldn't make up for the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom, but there was plentiful counter space, the bathroom was big enough, & the towels were nice and soft. The usual complimentary mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were accompanied by lotion, two cakes of soap, a small container of shoe polish, as well as 4 individually packaged makeup remover wipes.
This was one of the best-staffed hotels in which we've stayed in recent memory. Highly recommend if you're ISO a clean, comfortable hotel.
