This is an odd review. I ASSUME the hotel was excellent. Many Marriot properties are.
I selected a TERRIBLE rating because of the refund policy being what it is. There are no refunds, no matter what the circumstances.
I was unable to make it to my destination b/c NYC was hit by totential rain and flooding on 9/29.
Planes were grounded and cancelled all day and my flight was cancelled @ 9pm after two attempts to leave LaGuardia.
When I called Spring Hill Suites in CO and Expedia, I learned there was a no refund policy and managment at the hotel wouldn’t make an exception, despite the weather emergency.
So, I’m out $500 for a hotel I never was able stay at.
I’m a long time customer of the Marriott, and I’m very disappointed that there are no exceptions for a refund or at least a credit.
My dog sitter reimbursed me after I paid up front for four days when I only used two.
He understands how to take care of a loyal customer.
The same can’t be said for Spring Hill Suites in Longmont, CO.
