Beautiful Bed & Breakfast

Posted Mar 23, 2013
Pros: friendliness of staff, beautiful property
Cons: shower/tub
Location: Nice location, not far from downtown Folsom.
Very nice bed and breakfast -- and a perfect location for our friends' wedding. The room we stayed in, the Wild Poppy room in the main house, was very cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower/tub was a bit complicated to manuever as there was no actual shower head built into the wall (just a hand held attatched to the tub), but other than that very nice. I believe all the other rooms, besides the Forget Me Not, have regular showers in them. There also seemed to be more privacy in the rooms not located in the main house. The breakfasts in the morning were amazing and the little chickens running around the farm were fun to watch. The common areas are large and nicely decorated and the rocking chairs on the porch are a comfortable place to relax. There is also a little cafe on the property within walking distance for those who'd like a coffee break or snack.
