Pros: Great views.
Great location but had a terrible sleep. Between the a/c unit thundering on and off all night and the paper thin walls forcing us to be part of our neighbours evening we left very tired the next morning. Room # was 69.

We were greated by a friendly staff member that gave us an early check in and gave us all the information we would need during our stay We had a very clean, large room with a small kitchenette. Nice hot shower, taxi ride into historical center of town very abffordable. We Would stay there again

Would not stay there again

Most rooms are adjoining. Could hear guest next door coughing constantly. Asked for another room, got an even worse room with loud guests next door. Third try, got a non-adjoining room with twin beds (instead of double bed we booked). Staff did not seem to care. Beds were very uncomfortable and lumpy, internet did not work in room. A/C did not work. Had to call front desk. Had to use the main switch behind the picture to turn the A/C off and on. Maintenance seemed to think this was ok. Long walk to town. A vehicle is needed to stay here.

Would not stay again

When we arrived, there was no one at the counter for check in. I went to the Expedia "VIP" service. That was a joke.She directed me to the counter and said they will help you. Once we got checked in, the room was next to the pool. We stayed in a single room. It had a joining room that was occupied by a loud TV and snorer. The AC did not work. Had to call the front. Someone immediately came to replace the battery in the thermostat. The bed was sloped down towards the headboard. The bathroom had a strong mold smell and the shower was moldy and not clean. We were so exhausted after a four hour drive that we tolerated the night and checked out first thing in the morning.

comfy and well-equipped, at a great price

I was inclined to choose this hotel based on the price, and I am SO glad I did. The front desk is kind and attentive, the concierge service has loads of information about the area, the rooms are lovely. I really liked that the rooms were well enough equipped to sustain the more long-term travelers, with a couple pots and pans etc. I felt quite at home. There are laundry machines, a little market...It's clean and well-kept, with a pool and jacuzzi in the courtyard. And a cactus zen garden, which I unwittingly trampled on (sincere apologies to the hotel´s zen-master)...

Nice hotel close to downtown

Pros: Clean, safe, reasonably priced with kitchenettes and nice size fridge to keep the beer cold.
Cons: If they were to ever renovate i would hope better sound insulation between rooms.
Location: Very central to do just about whatever you want.
Nice hotel close to downtown. Is affiliated with the Villa del Palmar Beach Resort so there is a lot of "encouragement" to attend the sales presentation for timeshare, which we did. In exchange we got a couple days car rental for free and discounts on local attractions which worked out perfectly for us. Loreto is a wonderful town with very friendly people- both the tourists and the locals. Prices reasonable and the restaurant selection also wide variety of tastes and prices. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the town core and 15 minutes to the beach. Only downside is the walls are very thin and some of the Villa del Palmar employees live in the adjacent rooms. In our case, an alarm at 6:50am woke us each morning but once we realized he was going to work and we didn't have to, we just relaxed into the situation. No worries! Very clean hotel. Staff is wonderful: helpful and friendly.

Great Value, Good Location.

Pros: Liked that we were able to to walk to most everything. They were able to arrange for tours for us. Kitchenette made it nice to keep some things for
Cons: The bed was little firm.
Location: Fishing, Horseback riding, whale watching.
Great location with lots to do in the area. Lots of places to eat with walking distance of the hotel.

Nice hotel, great staff, really uncomfortable beds

We very much enjoyed our time in Loreto. The Santa Fe is nice hotel, and is located within walking distance of many great destinations. The staff are very helpful and eager to help. The facilities and nice, the hot tub is great, and pool is too, just a little small. We would stay there again, but probably bring a foam pad for the beds.

Cons: Put something on the feet of the chairs in room so you do not hear them scrapping against the floor
Hotel walking distance to malecon..pool area small but clean and accessible..staff were very helpful and went out of there way to be helpful..did not have a hair dryer in the room and the cleaning lady went right away and brought back one
