This is a very nice hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. There is a really nice patio on the roof, opposite side from the "pool", that we enjoyed very much. My only complaint was the pool. Probly my fault as well because it looks small in the pic and I guess I figured it would be different, but the pool is more the size of a large hot tub. It even has the seating around the outside just like a hot tub. You can't really swim in it. I'd suggest they add a heater and some jets, and just call it a nice big hot tub. Otherwise, the hotel is really nice.

Friendly staff and convenient location to Academy and LA County museums. Walked to both. Peterson Automotive Museum is also close by. Room was clean. Valet parking is overpriced and beds were not very comfortable for the price of room. Towels were also a little thin and rough.

We booked this property with a senior discount through my husband. It was better than my member’s rate. I am an Elite Gold member. I was treated like a princess when we arrived in San Francisco. We arrived here and while my husband was attending to the car, I went to check in. After 6 minutes of standing around, the guy finally came to the counter. The reservation was under my husband’s name and they needed his ID to check in - understandable. I went back out and got my husband, walked back in and had to wait almost 10 minutes for Miguel to come back. I used my Marriott Chase card as the credit card. I wasn’t offered any perks for being an elite member. Disappointed.
