Expensive hotel near some good taco truck.

Way too expensive for 2 nights, & then they charged us for parking when we only got there to sleep and were gone all day? No thank you! NEVER AGAIN.

Bad hotel in the middle of a bad area.

Bad hotel, hidden fees, bad area, and you don't get what they show in pictures. You have to upgrade for $60 dollars, microwave $10 fridge $15 $25 for "extra person"parking $12 for all of this a day! I checked out the pictures again to assure I had been mislead sure enough to the room is completely different. The heater in the room was not working when they fixed it the ac would not work. Coming from someone who is not fancy at all I have been mislead. A hotel already has all those amenities with no hidden fees. I trust ratings and Expedia but this time it failed me.

Good stay, comfortable

Pros: Neat aviation theme. The pool/spa were relaxing and very nice. If the pool was heated, it wasn't too warm for comfort.
Cons: Shift the smoking area away from the pool. It took away from relaxing in the hot tub to have clouds wafting by. HVAC was loud
Location: Drive up the Pacific Coast Highway!
Stayed 4 nights midweek. The hotel was clean, nice. The décor was a few years on, but not badly worn or dingy.

Older rooms, nice people and Lear jets.

Pros: Price and cool airstip view.
Cons: Remodeling the bathroom areas would make the rooms much nicer. They are showing their age.
Location: Taco truck? It's a good central location to a lot of different points of interest, but not directly around the hotel itself.
A very nice airport hotel that has a few years on it, but has been well kept up. The front desk, cleaning, restaurant and lounge staff were all very nice and east to work with. We had some fire alarm issues one of the nights, but it was cleared up and we were credited one of the nights there. One might not get that excited about having an active airstrip right outside their room, but it was pretty cool. The bunker like construction kept 90% of the jet noise out of the room making it pretty easy to sleep right though a lear jet take-off. My favorite part was being able to lay in the hot tub at night, watch the stars and the jets take off. Very different and relaxing for this guy and his gal.

Good value

Perfect location for my stay - close to Mom's house. Good price too. I liked that it had a bar and restaurant. And an elevator. I didn't like that they charged extra for parking. My tv wouldn't work. Luckily I have Netflix on my phone.

I felt the hotel was over priced and you have to pay to park. Pay for a fridge and additional for a microwave. I had no choice but to pay to park since I rented and car, but a week without a fridge was challenging. The pool was nice and the staff was nice.

Very old hotel

The hotel really needs to be update. The hotel is really old and smells mildew. The bathroom floors are dirty. The carpet is very old and dirty. I only stayed because I had already paid for the night and they wouldn't refund me back my money. Forgot to take pictures, but the ones they promoted at the website are the really ones. Also jacuzzi were not working even the upgraded suite was not clean. We look at it to see if we could upgraded but it wansnt worth it.

Wonderful stay
