Renovation

Posted Feb 22, 2017
The hotel posted the pictures how it's going to look after the renovation but no where on the site did they say they would be fixing the hotel. I arrived late at night so I was forced to stay one night but it was horrible, there was mold in the bathroom the room was musty and horrible smelling, theyre charging people way to much money for this dumb of a hotel.

Seen Better Days.

Posted Feb 22, 2017
The room's rug area near the window was extremely wet, most likely leaked in from the outside balcony, which was fill with construction debris.... not a pretty nor nice view to wake up to. Plus, there wasn't any hot nor warm water. The room was not worth the price asked/paid. Some positives: TV, refrigerator, microwave and a comfy bed. Plus, room service cleanliness. Definitely, need renovations: rug, toilet seat cover, shower area and especially the front door...a feeling of insecurity due to the wear and tear of the door itself.

Mid renovation?

Posted Feb 21, 2017
Pros: The location of the hotel is ideal for what I like to do when in Los Angeles and the parking charge is quite reasonable.
Cons: Hall carpets need to be replaced and the elevator is pretty sad.
Location: On Vermont just above Beverly, I like that the hotel is walkable to Faultline and Slammer and a quick drive to the Eagle and the Silver Lake 'hood.
Check in was smooth and my assigned room presented quite nicely - freshly painted walls and new faux-wood flooring. However... as I was settling in I realized that I had a table but no chair(s). I had NO closet.... there was the obvious space for one but no rod nor shelf of any kind. The bathroom has a new walk-in shower (very nice), but only a pedestal sink and NO counter space or shelving for toiletries and NO towel rods or racks! I never could get hot water in the sink, though it worked fine in the shower. As I was only there for one night, I dealt with it, but I can't imagine why they would assign a guest a room so obviously in the process of being re-done.

Water damage

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Lots of water damage. No hot water. Floor by the ice machine was drenched. Smelled like mildew all over the hotel. I will never stay in this hotel again. On the flip side. Staff was really nice. Hardworking people.

Hotel was not like the photo's of the renovated section. We were in a room that looked like something from the 60's that needed updating and work done. It looks like they are on the way to repairs but, need to advise when bookings are made. There were a lot of renovations happening above us that started at 7am. On a plus the cleaners and room servicing was excellent. There is not a lot around the area ships down the road and Red line is very helpful.

Not an idea hotel

Posted Feb 18, 2017
This hotel is false advertising although the room pics are not completely inaccurate. The room did look similar to the picture. Although it failed to mention the walls were dry rotting, mold, holes in the wall and the stains in the bathroom run. The shower was broken, the heater did not work properly. If your looking for a view this is definitely a no go. The hall ways were a mess huge stains in the carpet, borders were falling off the ceiling was caving in. The smell alone was ugh, if I had of known all this before my trip I would dare have went there way. I hope this helps you in your decision. Sorry I didn't take pics I was upmostly disturbed.

Pros: Nothing
Location: Not much.
The hotel was not as advertised. It was falling down and foul smelling? Renovations were occurring that had not been part of the on line posting. Noisy, dirty and unpleasant.

Pictures completely lured me in, and once we got there rooms were horrible Paint was coming off the walls, and there was cracks everywhere tiles are broken. Literally everything is cracked at this place. Would not recommend.

Very dirty hotel in LA

Posted Feb 10, 2017
Pros: The location was convenient
Cons: everything
Location: location was convenient if you like to visit K town, and we ubered to Universal studio (it was only $8.45).
Don't let the pictures fool you. It looks completely different. The room was very dark and the furniture were very old. The cushion on the seat was no longer a cushion. It felt like a piece of cardboard with some couple pieces of cotton on top. We found cockroaches in the bathroom in the middle of the night. It was a disaster. And the hotel had a terrible smell which we could not figure what it was.
