What a pure joy it was to stay at the Beach House - you cannot beat the location it's unbelievable! !! And the staff and amenities where simply excellent. We upgraded our room to a beach front which was well worth the extra money. The complimentary breakfast was amazing too. An all round fantastic stop on the coast. Hermosa is a lovely small town with an amazing beach and great ambiance.

Very romantic hotel if you're looking for a getaway with your honey! We got the romance package and it was delightful. Rose peddles, champaign, bubble bath.... It was amazing :)

Great hotel right on the beach yet close to diningPosted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Great location in a terrific, upscale beach community. Well suited for those who like an active lifestyle
Cons: Only real option for parking was the hotel valet @ $25 per day.
Location: Miles and miles of sea front boardwalks. Great restaurants that turn the day's catch into yummy food. 1 minute walk to the Hermosa Beach promenade.
We really enjoyed our time here. The room was terrific - a king sized bed with a sunken living area and walk out to a private balcony with relaxing chairs and a table. The living area also had a fridge, microwave sink and 2 burner cook top. All dishes and cutlery were shrink wrapped so we knew everything was clean. On Thursday night through to the weekend, the hotel offers a free sunset drink (wine or beer) and a chance to mingle with other guests while watching the sun set - a nice idea. Breakfast was good (no hot food) but a nice selection of bagels and fancy breads, juice, fruit, cereal, and coffee/tea. Only negative was the parking - no free parking anywhere. The adjacent parking garage charges $1.25 per hour but no parking between 6am and 8am. So best bet was hotel valet at $25 per day. No pool but we didn't miss it as the beach and sea were so great. Miles of boardwalks to walk/run on and you can also rent bikes and roller blades. This place is definitely on our list to re-visit!!

Location: Beach, pier, Disneyland, Forum, Manhattan Beach, bikes, sun, water, enjoying life.
Beautiful hotel with the best, most friendliest staff I've ever experienced. Great location, clean rooms, great amenities and complimentary breakfast. My husband and I had a very hard time leaving this place due to the comfort we had during our stay. Coming from a germ-o-phoebe, this place was wonderfully clean and tidy. I cannot wait to return to this lovely place and say hello to the outstanding staff.

We had a wonderful time, staff was so friendly. Our children loved that they could walk to the beach from the hotel. No need to stress over parking. They have complimentary beach chairs and beach towels. Fireplaces, microwaves and refrigerators in each room, perfect for my kiddos!

Great hotel on the beachPosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: All most everything
Cons: Due to the weather the breakfast room was cramped at times, if the weather had been better it would have been nice to have outside on th patio
Location: Good selection of bars and eating places, lovely beach and great promenade
Had a side room on the ground floor with a side view of the beach. Very spacious and well equipped, excellent bed and overall nothing to fault. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities including the complementary breakfast were great. Very near a good selection restraunts and bars fantastic place to stay for the beach and base for exploring the neighbourhood.

Loved it! Will definitely be back! Enjoyed the view from ocean front balcony! Wish we had hot breakfast instead of continental breakfast but can't complain. Loved every minute. Loved the comfy bedding.

Fantastic Beach HotelPosted May 20, 2015 on Hotels
Fantastic location on the beach. Had a 3rd floor sea view room & would totally recommend. Sat on the balcony watching the volleyball on the beach, the ocean & the sunsets! Never found it too noisy even at night. Any minor niggles dealt with immediately by staff, everyone of whom was friendly & helpful. Rooms were spotless. Bike rental a few steps away & restaurants & shops a few steps further. Complimentary breakfast a bonus. Found Bonna Vita on Pier St to eat in Sat night & went back every night we stayed! Met the MD on our last day, she was charming & delighted we'd loved her hotel so much. Stayed 9-14 May '15 would go back in a heartbeat!

Great location, lots to do.Posted May 17, 2015
Breakfast area is really small. Had check-in issues, had to wait past the 4pm check in time to get into my room. Luckily, Pier St is the block next door.
