Pros: Very clean, well appointed, good breakfast, staff very helpful.
Cons: Perfect. Would stay again.
Location: Easy walking distance of metro rail link onto network into Central LA and beyond.
We had taken a tour and chose this hotel as it was near to where we were dropped off.

Location: Good location, close to downtown, very easy access to i5 north
I arrived late and left early. I was just expecting a good night. Unfortunately the walls and ceiling are so thin that I could hear neighbors talking and walking as if they were inside my room. On top of this there was no bathroom tissue...

Lots of restaurants close by. Elevator could use some ventilation as it was very hot inside. Did not have the opportunity to eat breakfast because it does not open until 7:15 and I was gone at 6:30.

Noisy dissappointment

I chose this hotel because I have stayed here before since the rooms are clean and spacious. I had always had a good experience ...until now. The hotel is currently under renovation and that was not noted on the site when I made the reservation. I was informed once I was there that the elevator was not working due to renovations. I had to carry my luggaege 2 floors but it was no big deal. The real issue came the next morning when workers arrived at 7:00am and started working with machines, hammers and talking super loud (using bad words ay times). They were litterally pounding on the wall of my room! This woke me up and went on for the rest of the morning. There was no way I was able to go to sleep or get any rest with such a noisy environment, it gave me a headache! My plan to have a restful stay and sleep in was compeltely ruined. I wish they would have placed me in another room where they knew they wouldn't be working. Or sent the workers to work in another area where guests were not staying. I have stayed at other hotels undergoing renovations but never encountered something like this before.

Surprisingly different and nice.

Great customer service, Clean, modern,comfortable, spacious room. Elevator was broken at the time but it's only 3 floors. Walkable to or from Union Station. Offered a bag check so we could have lunch walk around before catching our train.

hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is nice. It is convenient location to access Stations.

The hotel is nice. The neighborhood is downtown LA. If you are not familiar with the one way streets, getting around by car is a challenge. If you like Chinese or Mexican food, this is the place to be.

We are only 1/2 block from the DASH stop which we take to anywhere in Downtown Los Angeles for $0.50 Monday through Friday and we are only 1 block from the Metro station which will take you to just about anywhere you need to go. Affordable, decent hotel

Pros: price, location, easy to book, easy check in
Cons: sense of security with the open courtyard; breakfast
The hotel is a fine deal for the price. Great location. The room was nicer than expected, after entering the courtyard and lobby which are pretty outdated. The room was fully updated with new floors, nice new bathroom, etc. Do not eat the free breakfast, which is worse than a HoJo breakfast, with absolutely no real food, just lots of instant/gross stuff like waffles and yogurt from machines. It would go a long way to just have simple fresh food instead.

The worst service Jennifer at the front desk needs a whole lot of training... I'll never be back at this hotel again.

Hello Elaine: I'm sorry we disappointed you . Its not the our front desk didn't want to give you a room with a bathtub, its that there were all occupied at the time. In the future, please advise any property that you make a reservation at that you would like to have a tub. Most properties now have taken out bathtubs and are mostly showers. I hope you understand.
