Hotel im Motelstyle

Posted Oct 2, 2015
Zimmer waren sauber.

We stayed in sept 2015

Posted Sep 16, 2015
Pros: It had everything we wanted at a reasonable price.
Location: Not the best location for Los Angeles as it's a bit of a drive away but a fair price. Just accross the street there are numerous shops
We stayed in September 2015, it's a bit away from lax airport / downtown but I guess that's reflected in the price. Arrival was quick and hassle free, room was large and clean with plenty of parking. Tv, fridge, microwave, iron/ ironing board, hair dryer, free wifi , soaps and lotions pretty much all you want for a few nights. The Poole was larger then expected and clean as was the spa bath. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise but the earlier you rise the greater choice. No problems only praise for the hotel and staff. Would definitely stay again.

GREAT HOTEL nice breakfast great staff

Posted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: The pool, breakfast, convenience, location, very clean parking lot was very clean
Cons: Keep up the good work on the rooms and on breakfast, and customer service.
Location: Santa Monicla, Pier Universal Studio's, venice beach
The moment we walked in, was greeted nicely, Our room was very clean even the pictures and mirrors free of dust. beautiful wood floors, nice bathroom and the pool was very clean nice chairs, they even played music out there that was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good, bagels, fruit, make your own waffles, muffins Danish the list can go on. The girls in the morning were very nice and helpful to the small children. And the breakfast area was very clean, which was nice, as well as when something ran out the girls where there to refill and with a smile everytime, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. walking distance to 2 grocery stores, Dickeys, coffee shop and a magazine and newsstand. Very nice.

good location, overpriced

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: 1. Was good for us because we were heading north next morning so we didn't drive through LA. 2. Clean room and bathroom. 3. Average breakfast with a small breakfast area. You must ask the Lady in charge for food items if they run out. Cons: we booked late so we had to have a rather expensive room with what's considered a patio!! Was a joke really. The facilities were not worth this price.

Quiet & Clean

Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Clean room.
Cons: Parking for sure.
Location: Nearby are a few coffee houses and restaurants that looked suspicious, otherwise all else you have to drive to.
Disclosure: We only used the Inn for sleeping and eating breakfast, otherwise we were in Santa Monica tending to an ill relative. Our room was clean upon arriving, but the housekeeper forgot to leave shampoo. The LG TV worked well. The swimming pool water looked a little murky. We only sat by the pool for 15 minutes to gather our thoughts. The breakfasts were diversified with bagels, toast, waffles, muffins, cereal, coffee, tea, juice; all was fresh, but the small room was crowded. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Inn was nice and quiet. I hope my comments help future tenants of the Inn.

good location, excellent desk staff, very helpful

Posted Aug 10, 2015
we were in LA for the Special Olympic World Games held at both UCLA and USC, the Coliseum and Convention Centre as well as Long Beach. we were primarily at UCLA so this location was great....the staff were very friendly and helpful. the breakfast area clean and well stocked and staffed. this is an older hotel but has been well maintained. the unit we stayed in was quiet despite being in a busy area. close to shopping and restaurants. we will stay here again.

Renovated rooms, Nice location

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: The update on the rooms & the room size
Cons: While the floors were nice, they could have been cleaner.
Location: There were plenty of grocery stores, gas stations and places to eat in walking distance.
Our room had been recently renovated. We stayed in the queen suite. It was spacious...had a separate sitting area with pull-out couch. The beds were comfy. I liked the floors (looked like wood laminate) over carpets. The pool was nice. It was a little small, but there were not too many guests using it. We were on the ground floor and the people above us were pretty loud walking around late at night. Would recommend staying on second floor. Also the pool is accessed from the second floor. The breakfast was decent; however, the breakfast area is very small & crowded. The drive to Universal Studios took about 40 min thanks to traffic. We took Topanga south and went to Zuma Beach in Malibu. The drive took about 45 min, but it was a nice drive. Zuma Beach was clean, hardly any seaweed, not terribly crowded.
