Centrally located and very nice.

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: Location and the newness. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops etc. It's also a very neighbourhoody" so it is fairly peaceful.
Cons: Just put locks on the bathroom doors.
Location: Rodeo drive is within walking distance as well as other great stores/shops. It is centrally located so it is a quick and easy drive to Santa Monica.
This is a very nice hotel; comfortable, clean, well located.

Lovely staff and nice hotel, just one problem...

Posted Aug 1, 2015
We arrived super early due to our flight from Sydney Australia. They informed us check in wasn't till three but they could mind our luggage. I was surprised they did not offer for us a key to access the pool. The hotel was under renovations while we stayed, which I wouldn't of cared if they had told us prior but there was no notification if this, just sounds of drilling and tap tap tapping that we heard from our room. The wait staff at the restaurant were lovely, however the breakfast is a bit sad. I wouldn't bother paying for it again. All in all the staff were friendly if you questioned them about something, and hotel was clean. Location was great for rodeo drive.

Nice hotel close to everything

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Construction
Very close to Rodeo Drive, Wilshire District, West Hollywood, and minutes from the beach. Enjoyed the hotel even though it is under construction. The changes being made are remarkable. Very spacious rooms with an excellent and helpful staff.

A disastrous redesign

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and upgraded us to the room we got. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Fire the designer and the CEO should get the money back that was paid for thinking up this travesty.
Location: Near the high end shopping district.
The hotel was being renovated and changed to a Marriott. Someone should fire the designer. The new rooms are awful. First, no desk. If you are a business traveler, this is a major flaw. Second, they installed a sliding door to the bathroom which will NOT stay shut. There is no shutting mechanism and it simply rolls back after you THINK you have stabilized it....usually when you are sitting on the toilet and can do nothing about it. At first I thought our unit was the only one with this problem, but colleagues in other rooms reported the same problem. Moral: don't share the room with anyone you don't mind seeing you naked accidentally! There was no door on the closet area. You have to hang up your clothes in the open. No towel racks in the bathroom, so towels have no place to go but the floor. It's almost as if the designer hated customers and devised a room to be as uncomfortable and embarrassing and inappropriate as possible. There was a weird wall blocking easy access to the elevators. WHY? Such a nuisance. The restaurant food was abysmal and very expensive.

Nice hotel very close to d/town Beverley Hills

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: The location it was in-the fact that the staff couldn't do enough for you-how spotlessly clean it was.
Cons: Perhaps throw in a breakfast in the price you make this hotel stand out from others
Location: Located on the outskirts of downtown Beverley Hills which you could walk, a short taxi ride would get you to either Bel Air, Hollywood or downtown LA.
My wife and I could not have asked for a hotel that was more comfortable, clean and modern with staff that were friendly as well as helpful. Being on the doorstep of downtown Beverley Hills, Bel Air and Hollywood made it even more outstanding.
