Casa Del Mar is among the finest hotels I have ever stayed at worldwide, it is not inexpensive but they deliver. I rate them exceptional on aesthetics, comfort, courtesy and location.

Paid about $800 for a king size with a city view, didn’t really get much city view since the windows were pretty small, I might also add that the room is also quite small for the price I paid. the menu for dinner lunch breakfast are quite expensive, $22 for a toast? overall the staffs were pretty nice and professional.

Beautiful property adjacent to Santa Monica Beach and pier. Plenty of walking pathways. The staff were outstanding and always available to help in addition to being so friendly. Beautiful rooms and service.

This is a beautiful property but very expensive. I don’t mind paying a lot for the room but everything had a huge charge on top if it. $25 for bubble bath, $40 for daily valet parking and a resort fee. When you are paying $1,000 a night fir a hotel these things should be included in the price.

Awesome rooms BUT the ocean view is superior!
Pretty incredible! Initially had a room on the city side. Rooms are expensive, so when shown to our room, this was disappointing. Spoke with the front desk and they informed me the ocean side rooms were definitely more expensive. Almost double. Like those of you reading this, if you want a room with a view of the ocean and not the building next door, what’s it worth to you? I’d verify which room you are getting before giving your credit card. We chose the upgrade and let me tell you, it made for an incredible 3 night stay! I’ll have to get a part-time job to pay for the room, (Ha!), but the 6th floor, corner room, ocean view made for a spectacular vacation.

Exquisitely appointed rooms, top-notch staff, beautiful ambience, perfect location. Our stay at Hotel Casa del Mar is one we won’t soon forget. The only thing I found strange is no direct beach access from inside the property. You have to go through the front of the hotel, or a side door at one end of the hotel. Not a deal breaker for us. However if you prefer direct access, their sister property next door, Shutters, offers that.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The staff was nothing impressive however, concierge was pretty rude and did not explain the details clearly. Any time I asked a question I felt as though I was bothering them.

This hotel is lovely. The location to the beach and the pier was perfect. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive and helpful. Restaurant recommendations from the concierge were spot on. The decor throughout was beautiful and the rooms felt more like a home and not a hotel. We would have given 5 stars however the windows might be original and need updating to block out the noise from the street below. Overall we were impressed with this hotel, our stay was very memorable and we will definitely stay here again!

Lots of homeless in the area while I was there a homeless man stabbed a passerby. Great location for beach and staff was excellent. Food was ok! Shrimp I got you couldn’t peel them. Breakfast is ok wish they had a little more to choose from i stead of same of the same
