Good Experience and Overall Satisfied

Price is good for the size of the room and location. Pool needs a little updating but the ambience and overall experience was great. Happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to restaurants

The Chamberlain is conveniently located to many restaurants and is just a block or so from the main streets. Staff are very helpful and friendly, although the hotel itself is showing its age. Bathrooms are small, as are the balconies, and some different furnishings would help. But overall, a good deal for the price and location.

Walking distance to the best bars and clubs. Pool has an awesome view of century city.

Highly recommend this hotel. As soon as we arrived we were met by a lovely guy ( didn't get his name) he couldn't be more friendlier. We told him we were on our honeymoon and he organised a bottle of wine and a card sent to our room. The facilities are very clean, well presented and in a great neighbourhood. We would come back and stay here again, thanks for a great stay!

Lovely boutique hotel in excellent, safe location. Walking distance to surrounding attractions. Very clean, comfortable and friendly staff - especially the staff in the bistro. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful time! Hotel location is perfect between two major boulevards close to restaurants and night life. I would recommend more lighting and a complimentary coffee maker in the rooms. I would definitely stay here agin and recommend anyone who is traveling and staying in West Hollywood to consider the Chamberlin Hotel. The young front of house gentleman (I think his name was Sam) also gave great recommendations on where to eat and where to go.

Wonderful West Hollywood Experience

Pros: Awesome room, lovely staff, fantastic location
Cons: I was disappointed with the swimming pool. Very shallow and small. Great for pool parties but not much good for swimming. No hot tub.
Location: We were able to walk to many great restaurants and bars. Super close to Sunset Boulevard and Sunset Plaza. Short drive to Hollywood and Beverly hills.
We had a wonderful stay for 3 days at the Chamberlain while visiting colleges for my daughter. The room was amazing , very luxurious and stylish with a fireplace and a balcony overlooking LA. The staff were universally very helpful and pleasant. The location was fabulous as we could walk to many great restaurants in the area and we were only a few blocks form Sunset plaza. The hotel itself is in a quiet residential neighborhood and it felt like a true LA experience mixing with all the folks with their little dogs.

Nothing wrong, nothing great.

It's a safe bet. It's a solid 3.75 star hotel. There seemed to always be something not as it should be. No shampoo in my room, only one bar of soap, carpet not vacuumed in some places, room key always needed to be reprogrammed, lobby coffee wasn't refilled or the cream was out again etc. Nothing as a deal breaker, and I think you'll have a better experience if you're aware in advance. The staff was always great, and everyone would want to make sure things were taken care of. I'd stay again if the price was right.

Didn't like it. Rooms are dark . The hotel had an odd smell everywhere. Receptionist unprofessional, overnight parking cost 40 dollars!!!

Nice Rooms

Pros: Size of rooms, location, the music in lobby and restaurant staff.
Cons: MP3 players in rooms, some more hooks in the bathroom and a bureau for your clothing.
Location: Night Market one of the best Thai restaurants in LA, The Roxy and, Book Soup are few blocks away. Trader Joe's at the bottom of the block
This is a cozy neighborhood hotel that features suites, some rooms have bathtubs others have fire places. The bar/restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff will be the ones getting you ice as there are no ice machines. Nice rooftop pool. Highlights are great music in the lobby and a great location. Night Market is a few blocks away, one of the best Thai restaurants in LA and if you like books, Book Soup is a few blocks away. There is a Trader Joe's at the bottom of the street to get provisions.
