Comfortable hotel close to Universal Studios

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Location, price, and comfort.
Cons: Should be an onsite pool versus having to share the one across the street. Working outlets by the pool would have been nice for working folks.
Location: We only stayed one night in order to go to Universal Studios and Downtown Burbank. Quick drives.
I only have two "wishes" for this hotel. I didn't care for the fact that they share a swimming pool with the Safari Inn across the street because this means that you have to actually walk across the street to use it and this is very inconvenient. The other "wish" is that they would have responded to a maintenance request earlier. Some people actually have to work during their vacation so it was terribly inconvenient that their electrical outlets in the pool area weren't working. I reported this to the desk at the Safari Inn right away and nobody came to check on the outlets for the entire 2.5 hours that were there so I wasn't able to work. I didn't want to leave my daughter in the pool area by herself despite the desk person's suggestion that I just bring my laptop into their lobby and use the outlet there. Staff was very courteous though. One problem is that they had no clue about restaurants in the general area. She gave me a printed list of restaurants but didn't seem to have any personal knowledge about any of them. Location is excellent, reasonably priced, great modern and spacious bathroom, comfortable air conditioning and beds, sound proof, nice staff, and food at the Olive Bistro onsite was decent and priced well. I would definitely stay here again.

Very happy!

Coast Annabelle is an excellent place to stay. I was very impressed by the staff, the room and... a remodeled bathroom with 2 shower heads- one being a rain shower head. I'll definitely stay here again.

Great hotel

Posted Jul 30, 2015
I stayed there a couple of nights with my family on our summer vacation. Everything was great about the hotel. The layout. Parking. The proximity to where we were going in the area. The rooms have a feel of an upscale hotel but at a great price..

Thin Walls

Posted Jul 23, 2015
The walls were very poorly insulated because I could always hear the loud people next door.
