Good location walking distance to Old Town Pasaden

The hotel is in a fantastic location and is very well priced, especially if you book ahead of time. The onsite breakfast option was very good, but the kitchen ordered items were slow. They have traditional Starbucks brewed items like lattes available for order too. But there are a slew of delicious restaurants just outside the door so you don't even need those if you want to venture out.
The pool is nice and accessible. The parking lot is easily accessible as well, if you want to pay $2 less per day and get in/out when you want instead of waiting on valet and paying extra for tips.
My main issue with the hotel was the FREEZING cold hallway outside of pur room and our room itself. We were on the 6th floor with our windows facing the freeway so there was quite a lot of background noise at all times of the day. The beds were comfy, as they always are at a Marriott. But our specific room 655 had a very strange bathroom layout (not sure if other rooms in exterior portion of hotel have similar layout but we had family members in an interior room on same floor and they did not have same layout) such that it was extremely difficult for a family of four to use the restroom area effectively. The closet was so small that you couldn't even fit a suitcase inside of it and when you opened the toilet/shower room door it rendered the sink area unusable b/c the door blocked it.
Also, when a family of 4 reserves a room it would be nice if they left sufficient towels and toiletry items!

Thank you for sharing your experience and a lot of wonderful observations and feedback on the hotel and area. We truly appreciate it and glad you were able to get a great Pasadena experience. We will take a closer look at the hallway temperatures and our apologies that this was less than satisfactory. Thank you again and we hope to see you again. Happy New Year.
