Made reservations two months ahead, check time is at tree o’clock afternoon, had to wait about 45 minutes before my room was ready, that is 3.45am bad experience after driving 350 miles that day.

Room was very clean. Bedsheets were clean. Nice TV. Parking was good. Room was very quiet. Downtown area was close for shopping and food. Room next door had a dog with intermittent barking but seemed to calm down in the wee-hours. Coffee in lobby was $2. What happened to continental breakfast, did that stop because of CoVid? Restaurant was very expensive $69 for two. (I had Bavarian waffle, 3 strips of thin bacon, juice, coffee, fresh fruit on waffle). Food trays were left in hallways for long hours. All in all it was a decent place to stay.

At my wife and I’s first walk-in, the staff is friendly. While checking in the staff member gave me and her a complimentary cookie that was delicious. After checking in and going to the hotel room, it was very clean. You can tell the housekeepers are clearly doing there job, and if you get the patio room it’s nice to have some personal fresh air but nothing too special visionally and aesthetically. Although the pool and jacuzzi area has a scenery to it. They also provide a gym for anyone out there that want a quick work out, also by the pool area. What was disappointing though was that the website says “request for microwave”, but when doing so it will come at a cost of $10 that the website forgets to mention, oh and the wifi is an addition $10. The plus side of this is that the parking is free. It’s accessible and should stay that way in the times to come. The doubletree by Hilton experience I would give a 4/5.
