#Spring at #Hollywood #Crossroads of the World has been called America's first outdoor shopping mall. Located on Sunset Boulevard and Las Palmas in Los Angeles, the mall features a central building designed to resemble an ocean liner surrounded by a small village of cottage-style bungalows. It was designed by Robert V. Derrah and built in 1936. #LoveMyTown
Once a busy shopping center, the Crossroads now hosts private offices, primarily for the entertainment industry. It has been used for location shooting in many films, including L.A. Confidential and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, in TV shows, including Dragnet and Remington Steele, and in commercials by McDonald's, Ford, and Mattel. A reproduction of Crossroads' iconic tower and spinning globe can be seen just inside the entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida.
Today, Crossroads is the creative home of a variety of music publishers and producers, television and film script writers, film and recording companies, novelists, costume designers, publicists, and casting agencies. This house looks a bit nicer in the show. ;) (There were a couple of cars parked on the property, so we didn't linger.) This amazing dessert was served in a fishbowl, just like the other five courses. Inside was a crème Chiboust with sour red current jelly, almond praline, rice crackers and orange blossom bubbles. Topping it off was a disc of shaved ice infused with redwood stems. Pretty imaginative and incredible tasty. Legit Korean BBQ with a Lights in the LACMA plaza The La Brea Tar Pits (or Rancho La Brea Tar Pits) are a cluster of tar pits around which Hancock Park was formed, in urban Los Angeles. Asphaltum or tar (brea in Spanish) has seeped up from the ground in this area for tens of thousands of years. The tar is often covered with dust, leaves, or water. Over many centuries, animals that were trapped in the tar were preserved as bones. The six-course menu began with this award-winning trout row salad served in a fishbowl for two. A disc of snap-pea infused ice covered the bowl, but was easily cracked and sent down to mix with lemon custard, frozen yogurt powder, dried lemon thyme meringue, onion bulbs, and pea vines. A truly unique and fantastic dish where every bite was a bit different and always tasty. LACMA features a World Cup exhibition right now, and this was my favorite piece. By Nelson Leirner, this 7ft diameter stadium features an array of pop-icon and religious figurines battling it out for soul of humanity. Random International’s Rain Room (2012) is an immersive environment of perpetually falling water that pauses wherever a human body is detected. The installation offers visitors an opportunity to experience what is seemingly impossible: the ability to control rain. Rain Room presents a respite from everyday life and an opportunity for sensory reflection within a responsive relationship. Adorable find in a hole in the wall donut shop! Lots of colorful and unique flavors that I'm going to have to try out. #HollywoodForever the cemetery is by the #ParamountPicturesHollywood is amazing big and beautiful ,many famous and tombs from the 1800 unbelievable 😱 .
And I tell you something I was by my self
there was a few people but as I say , this place is big and I hear and feel strange things ,nothing bad .thanks God😊 An outdoor shopping experience you don't want to miss. With all the best stores and more that you would like to shop at, a trip to The Grove is a must if you're in LA. There is a trolley that goes through the shopping area from one end to the other that you can hop on if you're too exhausted from all the shopping. Also, there's a neat farmers market located right next to The Grove This is a picture taken in the Mariposa Grove of #Yosemite #NationalPark, one of the most beautiful stretches of land in the US. Walk through, and you'll feel like you're in one of the most calming, relaxing places on Earth. Crossroads of the World has been called America's first outdoor shopping mall. Info copy from media . In Hancock park located in downtown LA are the La Brea tar pits. You can enter the park for free to see the tar pits themselves, as well as visit the museum for a nominal fee. One interesting fact was that the prior owner of this land brought the pictured mammoth here through downtown LA back in the 40's by towing it by VW beetle. What a sight that would have been! They have a lot restricted area (private)
you can't even bee hanging around at the front .Professional cameras are not allow
pictures with cellphones are ok .i take this one with my iPad,but I took some others (a lot) with my Camara ( I din't know it was not allow ) 😁#Spring . Hollywood cemetery museum and park. The Chinese Theatre is a must see when visiting Hollywood. And it's difficult to miss as it's right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame... Didn't get a chance to go in, was just a lil tourist (lol), but just the outside is enough. You get a nice view of Asian #Architecture which is so uniquely interesting With unique hot dogs inspired by many of the films from Hollywood, Pink's is a great spot for a hot dog. Be prepared to wait in a long line if you go around lunch time, but it is well worth the wait. Celebrities also find Pink's to be a spot they enjoy, as you can see autographed photos from all the Hollywood stars! The best ones are here #Ramones

TCL Chinese Theatre is a cinema palace on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, United States. Originally known (and still commonly referred to) as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, it was renamed Mann's Chinese Theatre in 1973; the name lasted until 2001, after which it reverted to its original name. On January 11, 2013, Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL Corporation purchased the naming rights to the facility, making its official name TCL Chinese Theatre. This resulted in the first affiliation of the Chinese Theatre with an actual Chinese corporation.

#UbeIceCream #SweetSpot #LA I have been wanting to take pictures of this installation since it was created in 2008.
Half way between hollywood and beverley hills there is a kind of light park. Perfect for a romantic escape. It is located right next to the museum of art. #roadtrip Previously Charlie Chaplins film studios. Now Jim Hensons but also a recording studio (where We Are The World was recorded among others) If you're familiar with the rock band Guns N' Roses, then you should be familiar with Canter's deli. This was the official hangout place for the rock group back in the early 80's and your reminded of it as soon as you walk in the front door with a lot of GN'R memorabilia. As for food, I had the corned beef and pastrami sandwich and paid an hefty price of $13.50 for a sandwich with coleslaw (fries not included). All in all, the food was great and the family took in the pleasant atmosphere and left happy.
Two thumbs up: 👍👍 The Hollywood Walk of Fame consists of more than 2,400 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along fifteen blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others. The Walk of Fame is administered by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust. It is a popular tourist destination, with a reported 10 million visitors in 2003. Golden Bridge Yoga is a Kundalini studio. They have regular classes and also offer special meditation events that range in duration and price. For example they held an 11-11-11 meditation session for $45 in advance and $50 at the door (if it's not already sold out) starting at 10:30am ending at 1:30pm. They also have shorter sessions like 7:30pm to 9:30pm for $25 in advance and $30 at the door. They offer drop in classes for $20 or you can be ambitious and get a class package which range from 5 class pass for $75 to 20 class pass for $220. Or if you are feeling really committed and ambitious you can go for a 30 Day Unlimited pass for $150 or Unlimited auto-pay option at $119. It's a great space and the teachers are knowledgeable and humorous. There is a good feeling here. And on the right day you might be in class with Carrie-Ann Moss (Trinity) from the Matrix trilogy! She is there to do yoga and/or meditate so I trust you will be respectful of that and not blab that you found out on Trover where she does yoga ;)
The cafe has a verity of yummy healthy food with savoury and sweet selections. A little on the pricy side but sooo good for you and very yummy.
The gift shop is small and the prices aren't bad, comparable to other yoga stores.
Check it out sometime if you can!
www.goldenbridgeyoga.com Old LA Weekly building Twelve Centimeter is a modern, gourmet confectionary offering a selection of cakes and cookies. These are called Ice Cookies with flavors like green tea, earl grey, strawberry, blackberry, spice, chocolate, mango and lemon. Such an amazing piece of pre-historic land in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of LA. I can't believe people would rather see the walk of fame than this museum!! Had a wonderful time exploring Hollywood Blvd. The Chinese Theater was truly wonderful to see.

#SweetSpot In a fairly nondescript area, on the roof of a dingy hotel, we were blown away by these Dark and Stormies made with homemade ginger beer! The historic Pantages Theater is located in Hollywood near the landmark intersection of Hollywood and Vine and across the street from the W Hollywood Hotel. It was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. In has been a vaudeville venue and a movie house and more recently a venue for live theatrical productions. The Pantages has been used as a location in several films. A favorite quirky reference is Rickie Lee Jones' mention in her 1979 hit Lucy's. for that 3AM greasy taco craving. Hollywood is a fun place to hang out, people watch, and feel famous. The walk of fame is longer than I expected and there were near buildings to see all along the way. I thought it would take 2 hours to see, but we spent all day there. Go early in the morning to avoid the crowds of tour buses, and a quick My first time at the Cinerama dome! Such a cool building. Pro tip: sit toward the front section for the full feeling of wonder.
